I have discovered that FatFace do a fantastic selection of jeans, and their "short" versions, rather than regular or long, are actually far longer than most "short" versions, which can end up shrinking to ankle length if you are not careful!
I am 5ft 4, so generally expected to be tall enough for "regular" jeans, but actually need a slightly shorter leg so these are fab for me and the cut is excellent.
About once a week I have gone into the shop to try on the next size down as motivation to keep working at the weight/exercise.....:D I haven't, however, tried on a pair of 10s as I know they will not go above my ankles :rotfl:
They are expensive £60 ish but often half price online, so I have been biding my time until I got them reduced, then went through quidco of course!
In other news £10 arrived in the bank from scratching which is encouraging, so keep scratching guys, they are still paying out for the mo!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ooh, what a fab idea going into the shop every week and trying your jeans on!
Well done on all the ebay listers too!0 -
Well I don't want to buy them to slim into, because past experience has taught me that I never get there and end up wasting my money - but equally, I want the motivation to buy the smaller size!
My size 14's will be washed this weekend and put on ebay.....perhaps it could kickstart my love/hate relationship with ebay and I might get a few more bits listed after my hols.....
My payday is next Friday, lucielle but after the weekend it will feel nice and close......and I can start working out how the next batch of envelopes will work!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. When your listing on ebay even if you do a 24 hr listing always make sure it ends on a sunday evening between 7-9pm...this is peak bidding time and you can pretty much guarantee to sell if your item ends then. The best way Ive found is to use turbo lister (actually easier and quicker) and spend the week listing things and then upload the whole lot on a sunday evening for a weeks listing
Means you don't spend hours all in one go and you can do a bit here and there but get maximum chance of having your listing ending on a sunday evening.
Morning all by the way!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
