So.....the universe decides to play tricks on me, and send me a visit from the insomnia monster on the day that the clocks go back......gee thanks!

Today I am going to head out for a ski late morning, I hope, and then will spend this afternoon sorting more out in the garage, and getting at least one load to the tip and another couple of boxes sorted. I also want to put a couple of bits on freecycle and make a start there.

Then, trick or treaters will visit this evening - I have my 100 bags of haribo ready.....and am sure they will all go quickly as the forecast is for dry weather so there will be lots of children around the village.

I hope you all have a good day xxx

So heart-warming that DD is so excited to move, does DS feel the same (albeit in a totally cool teenage boy kinda vibe?!)

Oh yes, DS would move tomorrow if we could. But he also has that "if I leave it long enough, someone else will pack for me" attitude!!

One of today's jobs is to assess "things" - I have very few windowsills in the new place, because there are patio doors leading out on to a balcony in my bedroom, and a floor to ceiling bay in the lounge, for example, plus patio doors on the ground floor, so very few "normal" windows - that means that the stuff I currently have on my windowsills (not much, but every sill has at least something) won't have an automatic home in the new place, so I have to make that "do I love it?" judgement.....

As you know, I went through all of that, or at least I thought I did ... I've now realised that as the work in my new office is closer to finishing, I need to be looking at the boxes I haven't unpacked yet, so that I don't have to do it all in the last week or so before Christmas :o my sister decluttered some of our childhood toys onto me recently (well, I couldn't bear to see them thrown :o) I think that may have been a mistake on my part :rotfl:

Hope the whole day goes well, Hypno, skiing and all.

Well, I have made a start - I am doing an audit of my wine racks.....well, I need to know that I am only moving that which needs to be moved. The rest can be consumed, either by using in cooking if it is not so great wine, or by drinking beforehand. No point in paying removal men to move it :rotfl:
