Yes, it the house that DD has been kindly keeping an eye on! The people buying mine are renting, and the one I am buying has no forward chain, so it should be quite straightforward.....we all hope to be in there for Christmas :D

I have paid for my valuation, and got my mortgage arranged. Credit checks done etc, just need to take my last three months payslips into the local branch (yes, macgirl, I know how much hassle that might be!) to confirm my income, but as I am porting my existing mortgage and not borrowing any extra etc, it is just a formality.

It also means that I will have no other debt, which will be a fab start to 2011 :j

Gallygirl - I also expect you to visit for the grand opening of the tinned brussel sprouts......seems like their days are numbered :rotfl:

Just popped in for a catch up and saw your news. Well done, so the christmas card that I wrote for you stating the address as "Hypnos New House" wasnt wasted then? I am so pleased for you (and this to a person I have never met in my life)

What a way to celebrate your birthday and start the new year. I think your DD will be rather pleased as she seems to have made herself at home.
