    Hi everyone

Yikes - I am still tired but is a combination of things causing this but hope to get a deep and unbroken sleep tonight - might have a glass or two of vino this evening too hmm.

Hypno and Keeping Motivated - I think you are doing the right thing in 'delegating' the cleaning tasks. I agree with what hypno said about just accepting that this is something which it would be better to have someone else to do. I was reading something about recognising what is important to you and obviously having a clean home which you are happy in is important but by having someone else do this task the time which you would have spent cleaning allows you to spend more quality time with your family or even just having time for yourself. Plus you aren't guiltily thinking I have to do xyz.. so can really enjoy the free time so I agree is money well spent and would certainly be something I would have if finances allowed :o

I have been lurking for a while but felt I had to say I treat myself to flowers and the pleasure they bring is well worth the £4/5 spent, and usually they last 2 weeks. .

Yep, I buy flowers for that very reason. I sometimes only spend £2/3 - and not every week - but they make me feel happy, so it's worth it :)

    Hi

Are kids still doing their skiing still?

I would love a cleaner and fresh flower budget but no pennies atm , the clutter and mess getting mew down and makes me feel rubbish as 2kids destroy house as fast as I can tidy.

Both my parents trying to sell their houses slow market mams had hers on for over a year hardly any veiwings .

Dads optimistic as on market at more realistic price.

Whats the plan if you sell? another morgage or rental?

Yes, if I sell I will be buying something else, but hopefully with a slightly smaller mortgage.

Part of my budget is now "lifestyle" and includes the money for the garden, the cleaner, my haircuts, eyebrow threading, and the like - it is out of that budget that flowers will be coming.

My savings on the house insurance, however, has now been blown as I found myself mysteriously in Hobbs this afternoon :o
