Morning all - scratches done, just 10ps but as always inching closer towards another payout. Nothing to report in banking, either, which is good, although a lovely deposit of a few thousand as a gift from the universe wouldn't go amiss!

Nothing else to report really, my cough is developing nicely which, although a nuisance, does surely mean that the whole thing is progressing and is on the way out? It is tiring, but generally I still feel ok in myself so that will have to be good enough!

    Have a good day y'all!

I have just read in our local paper an article about debt help at our city CAB.....where they say the average amount of debt of those people who go to them for help has risen to £22,000. In previous years, I would have sighed "is that *all*?" but today I looked at the figure and smiled at the fact that those figures are long behind me.

I just hope that those people who are going to the CAB, are also directed to this site so that they too can make big strides!

I wasn't bored, more trying to edge myself back into reading the diaries. You one is fairly 'safe' in some respects lol!

grats on another viewer. I am imagining a new couple in your house with big smiles on their faces....

I am also imagining DS and DD jumping around their new bedrooms.....

cause i am imagining imaginary DS and DD seeing as I don't know exactly what they look like....But I am sure that the universe will get the drift...:D

Just heard from neice. Her hubby had spotted your house already but is just over their budget. They would fit perfectly in MFW on MSE. We joke they are tight but they have their heads screwed on. They do not owe a penny other than the mortgage - and that includes just having had their dream wedding. They don't want to over stretch but I bet he still keeps looking at it for the office space!

Sorry to butt in here. BUT when I sold my last house the girl who I sold to got in touch with me via the mechanic who did my car. My house was over her budget but, as I didnt have it on the market at the time I didnt need a HIP pack, just an energy check (cost £80) and I didnt have estate agent fees (saved a lot) by the time we worked that out I was able to drop the price a little bit which meant that it was just in budget for her). Now hypno I am not suggesting you jump in and drop the price but if they are interested is there a way that you could both make it work? When I bought my first house I bought it off the couple who wanted to buy the one that I was selling (long story for my diary in time to come) but they didnt know I was selling it. So I managed to work out a way that they got my house at the price they wanted and I bought theirs at a price a little below what they wanted to sell for. Amazing what can be worked out for the right people to live in your house.

Yep we have also done that and ended up swapping houses once which saved a fortune for everyone, meant we all got the house we wanted at a lower price as we had so little fees to pay.....and ALOT less hassle too!

that would certainly be amazing answer for both of you. :D

However, the agent may still ask for his commission - they presumably have seen the agents details? And some contracts are even tighter......beware
