It was lovely while I was out there - but I am rather phleghmmy now I am back in the warm
Hopefully it has helped shift it a little!
I am aiming to go out again on Thursday, but if I feel short of breath, I won't.
Evening all. Hypno, according to a personal trainer friend of mine, you shouldn't run at all when you feel ill. I always thought anything neck up = ok, neck down = stay in. But she reckons that even a head cold is a no-no and that you are simply circulating the infection further around your body....
Perhaps you'd be better knocking it on the head this week?0 -

I will be getting some honey and lemon tomorrow - and perhaps something a bit more exciting to accompany it!
mac, I was running with my friend who did the marathon last weekend, so it was just at her pace which is a lot lot slower than my pace. Honestly, I barely break a sweat and certainly don't get out of breath, but she needed to have her first post-marathon run and I didn't want to let her down. I won't be doing anything any more strenuous because the last thing I want is to have a prolonged infection, but it was nice to be out there on such a mild evening today.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno I believe that a good tip is to rub Vick on the soles of your feet ! Not tried it myself but it's supposed to work . Honest ! xxNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

And sometimes I think it helps to shift it too. Being out in the fresh air can blast it away rather than being inside with the heating on.
Hope you feel better soon x0 -

Not heard that one before, but on the basis that I believe in reflexology, I am prepared to give it a try!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
