    Thank you FW :) I am working my way through your diary today - up to end of May.......and am blaming you for my lack of cupboard cleaning :rotfl:

    I am a woman enough to take it. I don't even have copboards here - well I do but there is nothing in them. Have been reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. She just wrote a letter to God (asking for something) and her friend got her to name everybody she thinks will sign it. It worked for her...

    Well, back to work for me and working out where do I want to go and how to get there. This time, this is not about the meaning of life but about organising my life for the next week - how refreshing.

    Taka care.

    Positive vibes. I'm sure it will sell quickly based on where it is, especially with the school.

    I've been trying to explain cosmic ordering to DH and really need something to happen to someone I know so I can say, see it works :D

    Why not happen to you? Why not try with something small. I started with busses - sorry very practical but I have not waited for a bus since. Have been doing other little stuff like telling shopkeepers not to worry that my order will be there on a specific day - and the only thing to do next was to go collect. All this was very disturbing at first - I am a rationalist, a sceptic and a firm believer in science and its method.

    However, it works under two conditions (there might be more):

    1) When visualising your mind has to be completely clear and only one thought - the desired - should be there; sharp and focused;
    2) With most things one needs to meet the Universe half way.

    It is BBeM. But the book is an authobiography and it is wonderful - the journey of EG to herself. Sounds familiar?

  • Sending positive vibes for a buyer soon. Sometimes you just have to make the move. Smaller for now may actually bring the dream house nearer, take some of the financial pressure off temporarily.

    Well I'm not really into MG's challenges, as you've said Hypno it needs to feel and be the right time for you. I am reading the thread though, and if things fit I'm 'cherry picking' the bits that are right.

    I am setting myself my own challenges though, generally the wardrobe and new me update, the 0 to 5k and other longer term mini-goals. Surprisingly finding a house to buy isn't top of the list, when it's right we'll find it. Life is good, OH and DS's are happy, so lots to be thankful for.

    I've already done the basic purse/handbag clearouts, but my challenge is to reduce the handbag total weight. So needed a new umbrella, but realised it was worth 5 euros extra for one that was half the weight (I'll be carrying it for years).. Needed a new spray cologne today, instead of the 100 ml one which is really heavy but cheaper per ml, went for the 50 ml, so will end up with fresher scents as replaced more often, weighs less, and also isn't right on the limit for handluggage allowance for liquids, a bit too bulky to fit in the plastic bag too - was mega lucky today, it was 25% off at the shop. Also using up the small change as soon as I can, otherwise my purse weighs a ton. I doubt if I'm the only one who's had a handbag that weighs a ton, I did spot something once on TV where they were weighing peoples handbags, it was horrific what they weighed!!

    ZTD - love the property !!!!!!, admittedly I like smaller dreams normally but it's nice to look, I want somewhere just the right size so that there's enough room to feel spacious/not cramped, but no so big that we rattle around in it :)

    Hope the housemoving prep goes well Hypno
  • Good luck with the move Hypno you deserve to have this fresh start in life and I am sure it will be the best for all of you. Lovely new beginning and disposable income whooo oooo.

    Well that's why it's called !!!!!!. It's the analogue of looking at nuddy pictures of Pamela Anderson (for example). Far too large in some areas (guess), far too cramped in other areas (brain) and far too expensive and high-maintenance. In general, simply not practical.

    But it's nice to look... ;)
