Well done on being on targey and within budget with only a week to go to payday.
And those totals are tumbling so fast now you'll soon be debt free.

I hope so! Certainly on track to be cleared by the end of May (although of course I would like it to be sooner) but in view of my changed circumstances, I am quite happy with that!

Thats good to hear, Hypno. And how nice that all the work you did yesterday shows such results straight away, it makes it very worthwhile.

  • What a productive weekend, all the decluttering and the freshening up of the house is surely doing much for decluttering your mind too (well it would me) and I'm really pleased your mum is helping you as you deserve a helping hand after how hard you work at everything x

OMG hypno you are so close to going down another thousand in your sig. That is awesome! And well done on doing running AND decorating in one weekend. I think I could managed one but not both. And to be honest running 14 miles would take me all weekend :)

PS Pania. No worries about the delay. Let me have your paypal address so I can send you the relevant money when you know what the postage is. Thanks again (I think) for doing this for me.

    Hi Hypno,

One of your many stalkers here, who avidly follows your ups and downs and your signature!

I was just thinking how far you'd come today, from the days of juggling all the payments to avoid bounced DDs and bank charges.

I know you moved everything about a bit at the beginning of the year; are all your debts now in with the mortgage, and reducing by the monthly amount? Just wondering whether you are credit card free (apart from the one you spend on and pay off monthly), and if so, how it feels?

I also read lots of other diaries, and I know people get a lot of inspiration from you (though I shall not be joining you all with the shred).

    Have a good week.

Oh Hypno how fantastic that you are so close 2bsub8 and I won't be surprised when you get fed up with that club and decide to leave for those below. Truly amazing when you think of what's been thrown at you and all you've done since January. I bet the lounge looks wonderful too.

My understairs looks fab but everywhere else looks like a bomb as hit because I am trying to sort through papers etc. But I can be brave and coffee over tackle the next step of the eiger, lol!

I can't see how you'll string it out until May at the rate you're going!

Glad the decorating effort has paid off.

DFW844, hi! No, I didn't lump it in with the mortgage in the end, so it is still separate debts with their various payments in existance. Def getting there, though, and yes it is a big difference from a few years ago!!

DC.....go on, give it a go - you know you want to!
