Is it not just a case of sending a solicitors letter advising that you are planning to sue the HBC for the amount you want back and letting them decide from there who they are passing it on to deal with, or am I being naive here?Mummy to

She who has posted, is she who I paid & booked with through her company.
Her company now has nothing to do with HBC - therefore she just keeps referring me to HBC.
HBC refer me back to her as she's the one I booked with/paid.
And so on, and on, and on.:beer:0 -
3 - what's her problem, i've just reskimmed your story and as far as I can see the only time she's mentioned is when you say she was in the process of leaving. How is that libellous? I suggest you politely point that out to her, or just delete her comment lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Happy Birthday MOTM Twins.
Had really rubbish day at work, they're trying to make out I've over taken my leave, I've been there 14 months so I'm in my 2nd year of leave - they want to drop a days pay a week until I'm sorted.
However, when I asked when the leave year runs my boss wouldn't answer, just worked out my entitlement based on how long I've been there!
I wouldn't mind but there leave on there that I either didn't take or have worked to make the hours up instead - AT THEIR REQUEST.
What really got me cross was when he said there is no record of the extra I'd work, I clock in and out 4x a day via a computerised system for pete's sake.
It's a quiet time of year in the motor repair business so I think they're trying to save some money.
He even hinted that I should cancel next weekend by asking if I was going away and where to, implying I should leave after work and come home before work - not an option when it's South Wales.
I know I'm right so I will be there on the 29th, wild horses won't keep me away
Thanks, they enjoyed themselves.
Sorry to hear of your work problems. Some places will try anything to deny you holiday, full pay for work you have done or just be basic a-holes. I hope you get it sorted and you have the right attitude to fight their sorry backsides.0 -

Anyhow I am not taking any board from her whilst she is part time as long as she saves some - each month she is saving £200 towards her car and I still recieve maintenance for her from her dad until shes 19 so I dont mind.
DD1 gave me and my mum our christmas pressies today! she has bought us platinum tickets for the clothes show in December and has booked us all into a hotel in Birmingham for the night! I was so overwelmed that she had thought to book it all her self out of her first wage as a thank you for what we do for her:A I was in tears! so to all those who have kids with attitudes or teens with problems there is an end to it!!
She has given us it now so I can book time off work and in her words ' save up for anything you might like to buy' how sweet
£3.47. I'd have told them to shove their job where the sun doesn't shine. I detest companies who employ youngsters on the cheap.
Fair enough with her not paying anything, we all do it differently. As long as it works for all parties.
Nice Christmas present already. Best get that time off bookedOh the joys of over excited neighbours... Just not a nice thing to shout with kids around!
I'd have to say something _pale_
I have another problem. Keeping the noise down ourselves or waiting for the kids to be at school/college/work. Always had at least one around during school hols and I love having my kids around more than anything, but sometimes I just want to go for it and not hold back.
Sorry, couldn't think of another way to say that in such a short space of time:oI have an interesting post on my facebook wall - do I reply or ignore the bint!!
I'd reply by telling her to say anything she needs to make any response via your lawyer. She need not know you've not gone that far yet and she'll panic.
Don't get into a slanging match and be careful of saying anything they can turn around onto you, legally or otherwise.0 -
That's the perils of having kids Motm
More so with 7 kids and all different bedtimes
Uhmmmmmmmmm....do it in the bathroom with the door locked - Problem solved

SS You're last comment has just made me snort wine out of my nose! :rotfl:If you booked with her and her company then it is them who you made the contract with and them who are responsible. Like when you buy something, it is the retailer who is responsible if it breaks - not the manufacturer. (Although often retailers have agreements with manufacturers for repairs.) If the contract was with Worldwild then unless there is documentary evidence to prove that responsibility is passed to someone else then they are responsible. (I would still want to sully the name of the new people because it was them who messed up but in terms of getting your money back it should be the original company/person unless they can prove liability has been passed to the new people.)
That's what I thought Susan, which is why I contacted her as soon as I got back - then the whole cycle of her referring me to USA bloke, him referring me back to her, her referring me to GN etc, etc started!
I will now stop hogging the thread with my personal problems!
Sorry everyone - but thank you all too. I don't know what i'd do without you lot and facebook. :A
Searchie That's a long time to wait to hear.I was thinking it was bad that you might have to wait til Tuesday because of the bank holiday.
I've just been in the kitchen getting a glass of wine and V's bottle. Yes, I poured the wine into the bottle. I know I want her to sleep but that's still wrong, isn't it?
And; Is there any problems/nastyness in Ovaltine for the littlies? I like it, and L & J like it at bedtime, i was wondering if I made it V's nightime drink it might teach her it's nighttime?:beer:0
