Now you've made me think of a comedy sketch show, where they're looking like a politician and family stood outside their house making a press statement.
The MP is saying 'I was just walking into the gents toilets minding my own business when I tripped and a part of me fell into Mr XXX. That is the end of the matter'3 don't stress about taking over the thread. I think everyone's interested in how you're getting on.
I will get the cupcakes in when I get my refund.:beer:0 -
Q. I'm looking for a book that will tell me more about what LO should/could/might be doing. A bit like the book I had for weeks 1-26 when she was a baby. Even better would be a book that gave me some idea of how to encourage (not push) her development too. I have no idea about this stage really! Anyone know of any?
Do you get the babycentre emails? I look a few months ahead to see what is coming up and to see which bits Benjamin can already do
I have also had a peek at the 2 year assessment criteria so I know what he is aiming for longer termManOnTheMoon wrote: »Talking of bedtimes in a previous post, twins now get to stay up until 10pm if the next day is not a school day. It's the first thing they told me this morning
Oh my god, do not tell DSS that!! He is 9 months older than the twins. We have a 9.30 bedtime on non-school nights and I don't want it moving later anytime soon!

We're all different. It was 7 at 7, 8 at 8, 9 at....you get the picture, but it stops at 10 until they are 13/14 when I am more flexible by 30 mins/hour
I'll keep it hush from your DSS :silenced:
I'm really going now and my phone isn't picking up a 3g signal tonight, so can't even be lazy on the sofa and continue the fun. Baaaaa! Lucy will fall asleep on me and leave me stranded.
Could always take a peek at Ulrika on BB. The only reason to watch it

L's is 9 on a not school night, if she's been good all day. We do do later if we're doing a movie night or something special.
(Gosh - am I more victorian than MFD on this one?)
Had OH forgotten about London? Do you know who's standing in for Whoopi? ( I don't like her anyway!)

LOL - not my rules- DSS is 9 on a school night so we say 9.30 at the weekend. The PW keeps him up later on a Friday night, a constant bone of contention.
He has momentarily forgotten about London and he hasn't put the lads wages in for next week so he needs to go into the office or they won't get paid. He will have to go in on Mondayplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
bleurgh.....
eurgh......
and argh......
Had a horrible night Landen woke up very 2 hours, and then every hour from 4am!
Tonight is dream feed night! Coz I cant take another night of that.....
Im sure something was up with him since this morning he bought back up two lots of milk...
I had to cancel making a friend, and had a wee cry to DH about it, and then he felt really bad for asking me to stay because he didnt think he could cope with sick baby, because "sometimes only the mumma will do" (which is what DH said to L this morning whilst he was crying). Soon as he was on me he just whimpered a lot....
Feel like poop sh*te....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I'm even more victorian when it comes to bedtime then... Aimee's in bed sometime between 7 and 8 whether it's a school night or not... If I let her stay up later then she'd still get up at 6ish and just be a horror bag the whole next day...
When she stays at my Mum's, she keeps her up thinking she will sleep later the next day. What actually happens is Aimee wakes at 6ish, plays in her room until 8 when Nanny's alarm goes off, then Nanny brings her home full of chocolate breakfast and a full packet of starburst and then I have to deal with an over-tired sugar crashing horror bag until bedtime... It's a real joy...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
