MOTM - 10cm would put her there or thereabouts.

Some women have 'periods' throughout their whole pregnancy. Lots of women have an 'implantation bleed' at around the time that a period would have come.

At about the 9 weeks we believe she is?

She's not said she's bled since becoming pregnant, but she may not have felt the need to.

But that's my point - you don't know when she became pregnant. Her last 'period' may have been an implantation bleed.

Where did the MW measure from and to?

And I can't believe I am going away on Tuesday when the big mystery will be solved!!!

One final thing, on under 12 weeks pregnant thread, option of private scans alongside NHS ones. We are in fortunate position of being able to afford - any experiences?

    Have a nice day all.
Nothing extra with a private one then? Not even a cuppa and a biscuit (expensive Cuppa and biscuit granted)

we had a private scan at 9/10 weeks. we wanted to tell our parents before they went away on a trip and at the time we were only being offered one NHD scan per pregnancy at 17weeks.

It was amazing and much better than the NHS one later on (equipment was so much better) cost us £80 and was worth the peace of mind IMO (but not very mse!)

Ah right, I get you. Sorry, I am a man and have little idea as to how the female body works. I have bits on me that I don't even know what they are for ;):rotfl:So she could be further along. I guess we will find out Tuesday, sorry you won't be around :o

She was measured behind a curtain, so i'm not sure. She had some blood taken, blood pressure, urinated and the rest was paperwork.

I don't recall any blood or urination until at least 12 weeks with previous partners, but again, may be wrong and it may different in different places or MW thought she was further along.

Really need Lucy on here to explain, but she won't.

It may be worth it. MSE's not my concern. Affluent enough to afford the odd luxury and if it adds to the experience, then i'm all for it.

It's probably all changed in the last 10 years, hence my confusion and Lucy's first time she's all confused.
