Noo i don't have a Dyson atm, but i want one
It's an Electrolux Vitesse and the crap all gets blocked in the hose, so i have to unscrew and and take it outside to bang on the wall to unblock it. And the filter gets blocked after 5 mins and it cuts out anyway and you have to wait half an hour for it to cool down and go back on. Had it ages but hardly used cos of this prob
I was gonna get it mended but after reading this i don't think i'll bother!! http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews-all-98539.html#tabs-menu
Oh get it now! I had a Henry and hated it from the moment it came out the box (present from Grandparents in law) but I now have a Dyson and love it! I got one brand new for £100 as it was a display model left at the end of a sale but its the best £100 ever spent!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

£100 is a bargain, i want one!! *stamps feet*
I rarely hoover anyway, especially upstairs. Maybe if i had a decent hoover i would though :rotfl: I have laminate downstairs but the rug is hairier than the dog herself.. and stained, but i begrudge paying £30 for Rug Doctor + shampoo just for a rug, when i can so easily hide said stains with baby toys0 -
Hiya. quick question fromme, as I have a clingy little girl here who doesn't want mummy to use the computer (or go to the loo, or tidy up or do anythhing except cuddle her ... just waiting for calpol to kick in now!). How do I cook chicken for Izzy? I'm vegetarian and have no clue at all. i have some chicken breasts and was going to cook them on their own so I can then mix a bit with her portion of whatever we are having iyswim. Would they be better in the oven/grilled or fried? We're not particularly well stocked in the teeth department, so I don't want it to be too hard to chew or she wont touch it.

New challenge for 2011 - saving up vouchers to pay for Chistmas!Amazon £48.61 Luncheon Vouchers £240 -
And beanie - I got my first set of luncheon vouchers today too - spent them this morningm then thought afterwards that I should probably save them up instead. I want to get a new bed so I'm thinking that if I save them up (along with the other cashback/vouchers I'm saving) then I can spend the lot on normal supermarket shopping I would have bought anyway, and spend the cash on the bed

Hi Ladybird, I always find chicken comes out more tender if cooked in the oven:) Grilling and frying both tend to be a bit tougher.....although that could just be my cooking skills;)
I stick them on a tray and cook for roughly 30mins....you could cover them with tin foil too to stop the top crisping over and then just open them up for 10mins at the end. As long as they are nice and white(not pink) when you cut them then they are cookedUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Thanks Redstar. Everything is ok, just trying to find a childminder and it's not going well, so feeling a bit disheartened by that. And Holly and I have both been a bit sick this week so suffering from slight lack of sleep and an unusually moany baby. She is never like that, and it's the first time she has been unwell so we are doing ok really!
Your post cheered me up yesterday and made both hubby and I laugh. I thought that she could have at least used a blue felt tip pen, since he is a boy!0 -
Fitz, why you fed up? Thinking about work?
Ladybird, Amber loves chicken but i'm lazy and just chuck some strips in the frying pan, oven cooking would make them softer though.
I save the vouchers for my Xmas shop, or occasionally use them at McDonalds . I asked at Morrisons if there was a limit to how many i could use at once and they said no, so i went to the checkout with £48 worth all in 50p or £1 and she had to type each amount in, and i got some right mucky looks from the queue behind me cos it was obviously busy :rotfl:0 -

Like mel i said i normally oven cook mine, i wrap in foil, sometimes put a spoon of oil over and they cook lovely, jasmine has been eating it for ages and she still only has 6 teeth but she copes fine with it.0 -
