  • I really should know better than to read breastfeeding threads.... at least this current one is just stupid-annoying, rather than insulting annoying but still. I won't look back incase it has gone the other way!

We (me and my friends) have a term "young people's music", which we have been using since we were about 18. I stick to radio 2 - much safer that way ;)

DH said to me the other day that he likes some of Lady Gagas songs and i was like  your too old!

    :rotfl:

    He's only 22 :p

I was very shocked earlier, we were walking behind 3 chavvy kids, they looked about 12/13. And one of the girls said to the boy "I cant believe your cheating on Mercedes"

I was like "He has a gf!? And they know what cheating is!?"

Our food bill is between £50-£60 a week.

I want to make it smaller, but DH will only eat certain things so i can never batch cook. And he only will eat Dolmio, he has tried home made sauce and he hated it.

I made Enchiladas from sratch the other day, he hated them. BUt to be honest they actually were disgusting. I got the recipe from someone on yahoo answers :rotfl:
You could try doing a combination of your own sauce and Dolmio and keep reducing the proportion that is Dolmio until you get to the point where he doesn't like it (or until you're using no Dolmio if he doesn't notice).

(Sorry if someone else has already suggested that - I haven't fully caught up.)

anyone want any cucumbers. I have 15 in the fridge and 10 others that won't fit. I have a recipe for cucumber jam, so I think we will have to try that out!
    We love cucumber!! :D

The In Laws came and took my girls away... Apparently they're having a really fun time and Aimee has dragged FIL on all the rides... We went to the cinema to watch Inception... Hubby's been desperate to see it for weeks... He wanted to go out to dinner too but he shouldn't have filled me up with litres of fanta and popcorn... We've come home and had hotdogs instead...

Mfd, have you been to Cosmos yet? He's desperate to go there and try the sushi bar...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Wow, we've had a mega tantrum - she worked out how to take her nappy off and got very cross that she couldn't work out how to get a clean one on but wouldn't let me help. Once she calmed down a bit I managed to get her to get into a swim nappy so she would conceed to get into the bath. If this becomes a regular problem I may have to invest in some pull ups!

Bless! Don't you just love it when they become Miss Independant, but are actually unable to do what they're trying to do. :(

I can't believe how much of the last 48 hours i've spent asleep. My poor children have been neglected. L has been a star playing with and occupying V. :A

I've had some mushroom soup and actually feel a little better, but my throat is still hurting and i'm having hot moments. I think we'll all go up to bed after L has forced us to watch X-factor tonight.

I must remember in the future, to try and be ill on OH's rest days, or at least when he's on days. ;)

  • We were at Marwell today too, Ladybird! I didn't see you though. I have never seen so many animals up close as we did today. It was fab!

3-Glad to hear that you are on the mend a bit.

Krystal- I hope you get your girls back soon.

Aless- did you go to the Imperial War Museum or did I imagine that? Did Weezl bring a nom picnic?

I've had a lovely evening playing with my boy and baking lots of nommy goods. I've done my legendary flapjacks and courgette muffins. Nom, nom!
