((Hugs)) Michelle - but a lovely photo you have to show her as she grows up so she can remember him.
The other baby being voted for with MFD's Benjamin in the Stokke competition is mine.
(I've fb added you too).
I hope everyone is good this morning.
I still feel rubbish. My throat is still killing me.V slept for most of the night, just had a mumble/grumble at 2.45, but went straight back off with a cuddle until just before 7.
I however, have woke up every hour sweating/shivering/hurting and now tummy ache, probably from my diet of Beechams hot lemon.
OH didn't get in from work til just before 5 so I have no idea what time he'll be up to help.:beer:0 -
Morning:)
((hugs)) to Michelle.
((hugs)) to poorly 3, feel free to dump your kids on my doorstep and go home to bed;)
Sami Glad to hear nursery went well:)
I made some soup overnight in the slow cooker, it is beef, carrots, onions, tomatoes, beef stock, salt n pepper.......it is fairly nice but lacking in something, what hebs or spices could i add that would compliment beef???????Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Mel - garlic? Rosemary? Chili/cayenne? Tin of tomatoes? Bovril?
3, that sounds miserableyou poor thing. It doesn't sound like it's showing any signs of improving, are you sure it's "just" cold/flu?
My grandparents all trickled away from 3 to 0 over the course of my childhood - one lived in Canada too (I am half Canadian) so didn't get to see much of her and her siblings... I have recently embarked on a big family tree exercise to try to capture stuff while I still have living relatives to tell me things! I got carried away with the extending tree thing rather than details though... I have nearly 600 people mapped now  and ultimately the most tenuous links ever (and I mean really tenuous) like W.H. Auden and Sigmund Freudbut not nearly enough about my grandparents' early lives, their siblings and so on... it's entertaining though
I am so oldmy fun hobby is my family tree and I am thinking of treating myself to some decent pots and pans for my birthday
where did it all go wrong...

Seriously bad night here and tooth #4 still isn't fully through *arghh*
Garlic and/or a bit of mustard would go nice Mel....
Any one got a Bounce & Spin - how long do your littles use it for?The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D

Sounds like alot of unwell people right now. I hope you all get better soon.
Grandparents - I only remember one and he was the closest person in my family I was too, and I only saw him once every three months. Girls have never had grandparents, so don't know any difference.
Have a great holiday Mazcabs.0 -
Yeah I think it needed garlic, I ran out! It has got a tin of toms and Bovril in it, maybe I will chuck a bit of chilli in one bowl full and see how that is, thanks:)
We have bounce and spin Zebra....K uses it for about 30 secs maybe 1-2 times a day, although he will sometimes go for a week or so without even looking at it.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Morning all, Saturday morning 'ritual' at MFD towers, boys are having breakfast downstairs whilst I laze in the bath
What to do today? We are out for SILs birthday later so need to sort my roots out! And find an outfit that fits!
Bruno do you have your eye on any pans? I can thoroughly recommend the Jamie Oliver tefal pans, not a huge fan of JO but his pans are beautiful
Big hugs 3 and well done to v for settling in her big girl bed.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Any ideas peeps?
Hockey pucks? But I love those clams and they look like they'd feel nice in your hand.
Hugs, Michelle, I'm so sorry for your loss. That's a lovely photo.
My grandmother died when I was pregnant, I miss her so much.
Hugs and Lemsip to you, 3, I'm sorry you're still rotten.
Enjoy your holiday Maz
Mel, I would probably add rosemary and thyme to the beef stew - or else a bunch of chilli
Bruno my closest link to Sigmund Freud was the Freud Museum :rotfl:
Sounds like a lovely time Ladybird, sorry Izzy wasn't well. BTW, you're a dressmakey type of person aren't you? Do you take commissions?
Sami, I'm glad Chris enjoyed nursery. I see a lot of parents taking their kids to the nursery at the large office across the road from me and they all seem to be ridiculously well dressed. If I knew my kid was going to be playing with paint she'd be in the rattiest clothes I could find!
