Is L in a normal bed or a high sleeper one now? Aimee's in a mid-sleeper... It's a real PITA to change the sheets or when she's ill... But we need the space underneath... If this one is a girl then we will end up putting 2 of them in bunk beds and swapping bedrooms so the children get the bigger room...

She's in a high one now, which has space underneath for storage boxes, then a pull out bed under that. The pull out bed is still a 'proper' bed, and it'd probably make sense to use that as if V did fall out, she'd only be falling 15cm. It just seems a faff putting the bed away every morning.

I need to check the height of the Ikea loft bed, the ceilings in our upstairs rooms are low and curved.

Or do I just get normal bunk beds?

We do have a battle sometimes as she says she's full as a way of getting daddy to feed her! I just ignore her when she's like that and after about 5 minutes she starts eating again.
Alice is like that - I'll only feed her the last mouthful or anything else she can't get up with her cutlery but she knows that OH will feed her if she's not eating and takes advantage of it.

Morning Sickness - Do some poeple have it all day? Eurgh, I hope it doesn't develop into that. We've tried biscuits (or Lucy has) but she literally wakes up in the middle of the night and doesn't have the time to eat/drink anything as within moments the bowl by the bed is being used. It's not every night/morning either. She's fine now, it's just me that's shattered from getting up with her :rotfl:
Some people have it all the time until they give birth. But that is very unusual and it doesn't sound like Lucy's is that bad. With normal morning sickness the peak is supposed to be around eight weeks and it's supposed to be gone by around thirteen weeks so you're probably att he worst bit now.

Might aswell try both Bruno... I think a Dr is more likely to refer to physio than a midwife who will hmmm and ahh and then right "no problems reported" on your notes...
It probably depends on the doctor - I had one who wrote "Feeling much better" on my notes after I told her I was still just as bad.

Still catching up: you've all made me want fish fingers now - I don't think I've had them for nearly four years.

And randomly Alice is desperate for turnip.

Maybe a combination of the 2 - or just holding his hand when he wakes in the night so he knows you are there but he also learns its sleep time and not bed time??
We did hand holding with Alice at bedtimes after we moved house last year and she was a bit unsettled and it worked quite effectively for us.

  • DSS has a high bunk and I just get him to help me to make his bed  One of the 'conditions' of him getting a bunk was that he took some responsibility for changing his own sheets.

The fact of the matter is that we wanted him to have that bed anyway because it has a double sofa bed underneath which acts as our guest bed...but he doesn't need to know that

I am outraged that the Mollster isn't listed on Stokke's 'most wanted' page  do these people not have eyes??? I personally couldn't call it between V, M and Benjamin ;) but it would definitely be a shortlist of 3 for me.

They so obviously should have been the three winners, with a prize each. :D Everybody knows MSE ladies make the cutest babies. :p

We've both got the most 'likes' atm - but it doesn't close til Wednesday. (I personally like the arty/beach photo in the finalist selection - but obviously won't 'like' it).

    Hi all,

Happy birthday Aless!!! Hope you have a good one.

MFD - Hope I voted right for B on the Stokke page. Have I missed V & M???

Mel - Lovely pics of the T and K from the blessing...too cute for words.

I know there was more i wanted to say, but my head is feeling like cotton wool at the minute due to lack of sleep!!!!!

does anyone want to tell me whether, i should change from a BT line in the property we are going to, or keep it with them and be savvy with calls, save changing it back when we leave (and incurring whatever charges there are)??

if anyone has a magic wand, would appreciate them using it to back up all belongings, transport it to our new place and make all other decisions for me :D

i cant come to monkey world :( i have been before, think i was pregnant actually.

just going to nip out for a sandwich and will try and make it back before the internet police tell me i have to close it down x

Have liked both V and Benjamin after much faffing regards how to actually like the photos.

My PC will not be working until tomorrow. So can't access the weeks worth of emails from screaming customers no doubt. Shame! Can however access internet on my colleagues PC as she is off at Centre Parc in the lakes. :D
