EA, very true. When a baby gets too tired, its body releases stimulating 'awake' hormones to help it stay awake (think like when you have a shot of caffeine), so then when you go to put it asleep, it finds it hard to combat those hormones and actually fall asleep. I think that's the science behind it anyway

Looks like we shall try some of the suggestions for morning sickness - Will get some Ginger biscuits, sugar free polo mints and never heard of these sickness bands, but cheap on eBay (unused!) Ginger Tea is a no no apparently.

Evening all
I didn't get up until 9.30am this morning  Benjamin had been awake for a while but was happy singing to himself in his cot so I left him to it so I could have a doze!!
We went to Amerton Farm this afternoon to look at the animals and go on the little steam train (which Benjamin loved!). And stopped at a pub for Sunday Lunch on the way home so I had my first carbs for months! Was a bit strange eating roast potatoes and yorkie puds but I did enjoy them and I thought I deserved a treat having lost 21 pounds to date
Benjamin only managed about 40 mins sleep all day though so he went to bed without a peep at 6.30pm.
Hope you had a lovely day Mel - I have been thinking about you today x

LOL that's a bit of A trek but it will be good to meet you
Only potential problem is that where I am at Trafford is a not that easy to get to from the city centre which I'm guessing is where you're train is coming into so it may be easier for you to get another train from the centre to the Monkey place - I think MFD said there was a station nearby?
Ah, oh well, never mind, thank you anyway - it is going to be just too much for us to get there. I shall have to wait to meet up with you all againMDW - I've not even rang them yet and I need space for about 15They have huge picnic tables so am hoping weather is nice so we can sit outside. Katie will have lots of fun cos you can get right down to the water and go crabbing
What time do I need to book a table for? :j
Does your whisperer book say anything about settling a baby with night-time seperation anxiety?
Mel - I hope all went well today :A
Pre sign off appointment with the physio tomorrow morning, then appointment with Rhys' consultant in the afternoon. Nothing to worry about, I don't think...

I've had my sea bands on constantly for the last 8 weeks or so... The time I forgot to put them on after I got out of the shower I ended up bent over the kitchen sink heaving... They definitely work... They don't stop you feeling sick completely but they take the edge off...
That farm looks lovely Mfd, bit more upmarket than Ash End lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
