Fish fingers are delicious, but only with ketchup. If served with anything else they go soggy and vile _pale_
Having said that, S had fish fingers for dinner with sour cream and onion dip and nomnomnom'd his way through it. Lush parenting (!)
I'm in a bit of an odd position ATM for me, I need a new phone and I'm due for a upgrade but I dont know what to get! I want the HTC Desire but I'm not allowed to have that and keep my staff half price line rental so I'm stuck. I was offered the HTC Wildfire instead but can only find un-understandable jargon saying what the differences are and dont want to get it if its crap!
Am I going to have to be one of those PITA customers I used to hate and go in a shop and just ask to play with it?Mummy to

Hammy if you google map the journey from Leeds to ST12 9HR (monkey world) see which of the cities I have to drive through to get there, choose which one is easiest for you, get there and I can pick you up on route
(I can do your cupcakes too then if you like)

Bruno could i have a link to the canvas site please! E looks so like you in the pics!
https://www.canvasrus.co.uk Caz - we thought was very good, and they were faster than they promised too
Hoping Mel and Millie's Mum (and everyone else...!) had nice days todayours was ok/harmless although we have now internet-diagnosed OH as having PGP so now I have to talk her into booking an appointment... (doctor? or prenatal/midwife team better?)
Jealous of your steam train and farm MFD, sounds like a good weekend all round! Despite his obsession with them we have yet to get E on a steam train, must do soon...0 -
Might aswell try both Bruno... I think a Dr is more likely to refer to physio than a midwife who will hmmm and ahh and then right "no problems reported" on your notes...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hammy - from 12pm onwards. Shoudl be there til around 3pm I would think.
Will need to break routine that day though and get J to have a nap before we leave as he's not had a morning nap for well over a week now.
There is a section on 'getting rid of bad habit's - there's one where baby keeps waking in the night for feeds and comfort and can't get off to sleep on his own. For the night time feeds, you make them wait until a set time before you offer breast or bottle, making it longer each time until eventually it's around 6am. Once you've dropped that then you work on dealing with the wake ups.
It goes along the same basis as what I am doing with J, so you have your bedtime routine, and put baby to bed awake. Each time they stand up, you lay them back down until they eventually fall asleep. When they wake in the night, you do the same thing. Don't speak to them and no eye contact. Just keep laying him down everytime he stands up, eventually he will get the message and go back to sleep.
She says to do this each time he wakes to teach him that it is sleep time and not play time.
I planned to just do the lay down but today J has found it a game and been laughing each time I lay him down so after 15 attempts, I left the room and let him cry for 5 mins. Then I came back in and started the lay down process again. It's supposed to get quicker as you go along but I've found today a bit harder. He's asleep now though. Here's hoping he will stay that way!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Hammy - there's a direct train to stoke from cheltenham where any of us drivers can pick you up from and it's only a ten minute drive to monkeyworld from there. it's only 1 hour 37 mins.
I can think of at least 4 of us who have said we can pick people up on the way. Once we know who needs lifts from stoke and what time their train is coming in we can match up who's times suit best iykwim lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
