Mel - hope the blessings go well today

Morning Sickness - Do some poeple have it all day? Eurgh, I hope it doesn't develop into that. We've tried biscuits (or Lucy has) but she literally wakes up in the middle of the night and doesn't have the time to eat/drink anything as within moments the bowl by the bed is being used. It's not every night/morning either. She's fine now, it's just me that's shattered from getting up with her :rotfl:

Have a nice Sunday all, whatever your joys of the day may be.

MOTM I was only ever nauseous (lucky me :p) and that lasted all day but on and off, mainly when I was hungry but I remember a lot of people on the pg thread at the time swearing by the sea sickness bands, that might be more help than things to eat or drink if it's actually waking Lucy up. I hope she finds something help help and that it passes quickly.

Well I put Alfie down for his nap at 9.30 when I went to wake Dh up for football. I got into bed with DH, he got up and I went back to sleep until 11am, 2 mins later Alfie woke up. Looks like we both needed a mommoth nap this morning!

oh I hate my inlaws :( As you know hubby is away but back at 5pm tonight. So I got up and took LO aand myself off to the beach in East Lothian. However not 5 minutes after we arrived they phone to tell me they are leaving to come and visit us. I politely explained that we were at the the beach (40 mins from home) and as we'd just arrived we wanted to stay a bit longer, but they would be welcome to come over later this afternoon but told that they would come regardless! So I've just got home, tried to settle LO, who is having none of it and in laws called to say they've changed their minds.........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

sorry for the rant :( All better now :D

Macsmiler, why did you even go home for them? If they turned up to an empty house after being warned that you weren't there, they've only themselves to blame.

MOTM - my cure for nausea was polo mints, ginger biscuits and a Sprite. I have never felt as bad as I did at 5am in Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport waiting to check in for a flight, I ended up sitting on the our suitcases on the baggage trolley, chewing polo mints like they'd been discontinued - I did get some funny looks of the other passengers.

    Food shopping done.

Heater and filter are plugged into Katies pool for when she wakes up.

SS - I'm with you on being tuned every morning :)

Afternoon!, hope everyones having a good day :)

Jake's having a good day, we went to buy him a hamster today (which is quite cute actually and im not an animal person) and we bumped into batman and spiderman lol! he's now watching night at the museum which is keeping him quiet!

rmac it was quite rude of the IL's to say they were coming regardless!!

Jillie - if you have a car seat on the day of the meet i could collect you and K, or maybe someone with a spare seat could collect you from a station, think a couple said they had spaces with seats,

Dad brought round Katies present this morning, it's a tourquoise hoodie with purple flowers on it and emblazoned with Newquay, when she has it on she looks like a surfer babe!

She had it on for 30 seconds before saying "I'm hot" as it's very thick. They also bought her some shortbread in the shape of soldiers

JM - I've seen the pictures they are all adorable.

    Wow, not many posts today!

MOTM, I was never sick either (:o) but like SJ said, I hear travel sickness bands work wonders. Apparently ginger biscuits and/or ginger tea can help, as ginger settles the stomach.

When Lucy gets further along, I'm sure we can share our knowledge on things like raspberry leaf tea & evening primrose oil. ;)

I was already mega broody, but all these new pregnancies (Mrs Bruno, Krystal, Lucy, PP and possibly Susan!!). It's going to be so much fun in about 7-8 months with all the new babies!!

Soooo full of food...we went to the creperie for dessert so I am stuffed to the gills. Spent my John Lewis vouchers on posh skincare stuff that I would never normally buy. I can't to move now because DH is getting me EA Active Sports for Wii and I will have room in our new bigger lounge to really work up a sweat! :D

Hi Aless, your dessert sounds delicious, I love crepes.

I've just had Katie in the pool - she's had a great time splashing around, her highlight was one of our cats chasing a toad out next to the pool she spent ages watching it, then pretended to be one in the pool.

It wears her out, she's sat next to me in her leopard print all in one, stroking my elbow which are big clues, so it's fishfingers beans and toast for her tea then an early night.

She has a new phrase: "Oh my Gosh!"

Katie chose some pears in the shop this morning which are rock hard she keeps asking if they're ripe yet.
