She's fine thanks. No visable lasting damage and enjoys going to school again. I think having her friends, form tutor and most importantly, myself, Lucy and her sisters supporting and believing her, helped immensely. I'm proud of how she handled herself and the years i've taught them all to stand up for themselves and be honest paid off.

I'll see if Lucy fancies 130 -
Hope C is okay Choppy - have you done all the usual things to cool her down (taking her clothes off, a cool flannel etc).
Does her temperature come down with the Calpol?
I know what you mean about the hospital - trust your instinct, you know her best xxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Gentle hugs for poorly Caitlin - don't feel bad about taking her if she needs to be checked out.
NMS I'm sure she didn't mean any harm. I'd be annoyed nonetheless but I'm glad you're seeing the meaning behind it IYSWIM.
MOTM I was in the US and watching daytime TV one day, turned on Oprah's breast cancer special. They had a woman showing exactly how to palpate the breast to check for lumps - but they fuzzed it out  and then on the next channel was uncut Terminator 2. Unbelievable. Violence, totally ok. Nonsexual boobs, verboten.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

thats great. i kept meaning to ask you but kept missing you when you were 'online'
very quiet. miss mum loads and i know she misses Kian loads. when she is here i let her be very much part of everything with Kian---feeding, nappy changes, walks out etc.
we skype every week so she can see Kian and he can show his new found skills... seeing him crawl on the webcam she said was amazing. Cant wait for her to see him when he takes those first steps.
it was great spending time with my brothers as well. Kian loved them and all the throwing around he got from them lol!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

It really is unbelieveable. Something my girls could watch for their health reasons censored, but it's okay to blow people up, even ficticiously.
Now that's something that gets my back up and it would happen in the UK too.
I know we have a baby channel somewhere on Sky. May check that with Lucy. Can't do any harm.0 -
I can do sep 29th too - would love to meet you and Benjamin MFD.
NMS - I would be very upset if my Mum did that but I really admire your reaction. I need to work on getting calmer and less agitated on things concerning T as my current insular anger towards things MIL does doesnt help anyone lol
Got T weighed, he's 14lb 12 so put on 6oz in last fortnight. He's back on the 50th centile instead of nearer 75th where he was last time. The HV said that was fine tho as he's hovered around the 50th centile since birth. She said is poo didn't sound like anything to worry about but I'm not quite convinced so think I will go and get him weighed next week again to make sure. I'm just worried that he could have put most of the 6lb on in the week before he got diawoowoo and not much since.
Decided against taking him swimming as he has been super sleep today. I think all the playing with my parents and sis yesterday has tired him out. We're going to go on Monday when there is a proper baby and toddler session on. I met my Mummy friend at the clinic and went for coffee and she is going to come swimming with me :j Her little boy is 7 weeks and very cute. It means we'll be able to help each other and is a bit less daunting than going on my own.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Afternoon everyone:D hope everyones good?
Got back from london last night rather than driving back today as i thought driving back and night would be quicker and less stressfull. omg driving through london is the worst driving experience i've ever had lol!! i actually dont know if i ended up in the congestion zone so might end up with a fine popping through my door!! would def not drive down again would get the coach or train, am now nice and chilled out in my own house though so all happy:)
Think OH missed me lots lol, i came home to a lovely clean house (and it was a tip when i left it!) so he is in my good books! was nice to get up this morning and not have any housework to do,
Hope everyone has a good day at the meet today, i couldnt have faced another long drive today!

You did ask once, but you probably missed the reply as this place moves quick.
It's good you have the technology to be able to show Kian off and that he enjoyed all the extra attention
No plans for you to move back or them come over? Not an option?
Lucy hasn't and won't tell her family about me or the baby. Not on speaking terms. I'd be on speaking terms with them, just to tell them what I thought of them0 -
Thanks everyone.
Her legs and arms felt OK. but the rest of her body and her head are very warm. She's only got a nappy on at the moment. I tried the cool flannel and that's helped. It's hard to tell whether her temperature has gone done, as when she's crying, her skin seems cooler but clammy.
I'll take her temperature again when she wakes up. She's due some more Calpol but I'm not waking her up to give it to her.
Going to have a little read back now but before I go, MOTM have you had your MW appointment yet? Or is it not due yet? I've randomly got 26th August in my head!0
