Been grappling with money all morning and doing a HUGE spreadsheet of all the different scenarios regarding going back to work & childcare.
Because I've already earnt some money this year, our best option is for me to get a part-time job and him be in childcare 3x/wk. In the new financial year next April, we're actually the best off if I don't work at all!! Except that DH is terrified of Housing Benefit - he thinks our landlord might want to kick us out?? I pointed out that by then we'll have been tenants for 7 months and have proved our reliability. Has anyone transferred onto HB and had problems? I think because we're a family, it's a bit different and people are mentally more forgiving. Just curious - I think he's scarred from his job, though, having dealt with DSS tenants and the landlords who loathe them.
But the awesome thing is that if I don't have to work at all, then we can have more babies!lol...

All Molly's furniture is from Ikea :rotfl: She still doesn't have her own room because Husband's crap is still stored in the "nursery" - the Ikea storage/changing table was supposed to be a temporary measure cause it's cheap and easy and we could sell it on.

ThankyouI've given up on asking her - asked one of the others above her last thing yesterday so I expect the info I need will be sitting in my inbox by now
Feel bad doing it cos I'd hate it if it was done to me, but it's info I need to get on with my job and I know full well it's only a three minute job (to run a report *I* set up and for her to forward me the results)
Must go rescue Rhys - he's lurking precariously close to the front door and Mum's about to arrive to pick him up!
TTFN all xx0 -
I think Katie's furniture comes from Argos and Ikea, everything else in there we already had, really must finish it off, tidy it up and take some pictures.
Hope work goes ok ElleProud to be dealing with my debts

Hello all. My tasting was good and I have made an executive decision regarding may cake business. I have been umming and aaaing over renting somewhere, but i've decided instead that I am going to just put a new kitchen in this house  and hope that they let us stay here for quite some time! I would need approx £1000 up front for a rental and I would ratenr put that towards a kitchen in our house I think. BH if the kitchen was done I would want to stay here long enough so that we could buy it at some point when that was possible for us.
So, does anyone know where is good to get a kitchen from?! I need it to be reasonably cheap, but I need someone (reliable) to fit it also. Any recommendations?0 -

Hello? Are you the same SJ who was saying yesterday that there was no point doing any work on your house because it is a rental???
Bit of a turnaround!
How bad is it working with what you have currently?
How far away are you from buying your own place?
What do you call reasonably cheap?
