I have a bead maze already from DS :D I rarely go to Ikea but might well do

MFD it's for 9m+ so i'd think there'd be no small parts

There's the blocks with the wagon and the toddle truck. Also these look good and I love this. Just over £50 for all of them, and they're great quality. We're overrun with plastic stuff and I much prefer the wooden things.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy
  • Throughly enjoying mummyhood part 2 - things still hectic 5 yr old is still being extremly demanding but I have a very content very easy going baby - just as well.

Have a night out to a friends birthday party in 2 weeks - I've just tried on the entire contents of my going out wardrobe NOT GOOD:eek:
My extra weight had been coming off nicely with me still eating like a piggy (I'm hungry all the time I blame BF but I may well just be greedy) but this week I put on rather than lost so may have to cut back the kit kats in favour of bananas:(. Only got about a stone to get back to previous weight but with that, the jelly belly and the inflata boobs my old clothes just look wrong. Off to browse the net for a forgiving outfit.

Susan please come and organise my shopping - at least u have reminded me I need to buy loo rolls today:rotfl:

We have the toddle truck and beakers, as well as this bead maze, this play gym and these blocks and I would highly recommend them all! This is probably our Ikea favourite though

When you look at the pictures it has little items of food that come out of the trolley.

Here Edit - I can't link back to the right pic! 3rd one along - and look at the one where the 'mum' is holding the 'carrots'

I did wonder how it could be 9 months with small stuff in it TBH - maybe it is bigger than it looks?

Edit - salesshopper - I am currently 5lbs heavier than I was when Benjamin was 8 weeks old :(

Mfd - I have those moments too but when it comes to car seats i think you have to cos I know I'd feel awful if something happened! I had wondered what made you think it was a car seat! Maxi cosi, quinny, safety 1st and bebe comfort are all one big company called dorel.

Oh and downside of T having teeth so early she has nipped me twice now when finishing feeding.

    Working on baby no2 :D
  • Morning everyone,

Had a busy morning already. Nephew phoned at 8.15 to say his car won't start his battery is flat, neither of us have any idea how to bump/jump start a car so I picked Katie up out of bed, strapped her in the car with a banana to munch on and gave him a lift to work.

Made low gi breakfast pancakes served them with fruit and low fat greek yoghurt - a new breakfast for Katie but she enjoyed it - that's breakfast sorted for Thursday as I can pack it in box to be eaten on the train.

Sorted the washing into piles and put a load in, just waiting for it to finish so I can hang it out, it's cloudy with a breeze so I think I'll chance it, with the sun peeping out occasionally.

DH has also phoned to say he's got an extra hour on top of his shift today - all goes in the pot for holiday deposit.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!

It's too early to know for sure but I have strong supsicions. And you're not "supposed" to even feel sick this early but by this time four years ago I'd already been throwing up.
*desperately tries to not get her hopes up too soon* :D
FWIW I was nauseas from roughly 1 week post conception with both boys

MFD - those carrots are bigger than the child in the photo's fist I don't think they are choke-able small :p

Just contemplating making fish pie for tea, not sure I cba to start it now tho :o

Som - that photo is so funny because I commented on an almost identical one of Fbooboo's T yesterday in his mura with his foot up :D

I saw a photo of Molly on SS's FB, in her bedroom/play room? and it looked like a photo from the ikea catalogue  I recognised it all:D
