I can't recommend a samsonite 4 wheel case enough. Not only is the case great but one of my wheels eventually wore down after 5 years hard use and after one email they sent me new wheels free - didn't even charge postage :)

His old one is Samsonite and after ten years' extremely hard use is only now starting to fall apart. I went to their concession in a department store today and some of them were crap though, the pull-out handle wouldn't push back in and felt really cheap. I saw the one I think I want to get, so now it's a matter of shopping around for it :money:

SM did we have a final list of who's coming on Thursday? MFD are you coming? Is Tara still coming?

    I am coming :)

hello lady people ... not stopping long as im shattered ... but is everything still ok for the brum meet as im booking my tickets tomorrow x

I couldn't get the train you wanted me to get as it's peak time and £10 more than the next train so I'm getting that. Will get to brum at 10 past but happy to meet you all at the place instead of having you hanging around waiting for me.

:( If they're getting rid of you, are you not allowed reasonable time off for interviews?

I've been trying to keep up, but can't remember anything so hugs, :T and :( to whoever needs them.

Does anyone want a stroppy ar5ed 9 year old with an attitude problem? She's been vile today. :(

I think i'm still ok for Thursday. I've taken my car in today for the repair after OH went into the back of someone, and i've been given a courtesy dodgem/Corsa. I don't know how long my car is in for and I haven't tried to get the Stokke in the boot of the Corsa yet to see if it fits. But although it's small, I actually quite like it.

Do you not normally give him a bottle as the last thing you do before putting him down?

SS - Thanks for that link. I've not even thought about shoes for J and at this rate I won't be getting any until he goes to school! :rotfl:

Interesting they said wearing shoes can affect crawling.

MDW - I shall PM you now :D

Gutted I can't make Thursday - I've had to take another day off for settling in sessions. :( Take lots of piccies - I need to make sure Hammy isn't a builder called Dave after she's coming to J's birthday party. I know MDW isn't! ;)

MFD - agree with 3 (where have you been BTW? :naughty:) about getting reasoanble time off for interviews. I know when our team was being disbanded we were allowed to take time off. Can't remember what your situation is though. :undecided

I've done everything I need to tonight so I'm going to get an early night :j
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

3 - the place I work you would have probably ended up with a Chevrolet Matiz as a your courtesy roller skate - nothing fits in the boot of it.

Thanks Glam - I'll have my phone with me on Thursday so I'll get some piccies.

MFD found this on the ACAS website:

If you are being made redundant you are entitled to take reasonable time off with pay (but no more than 2/5ths of a week's pay in total, regardless of the length of time off allowed) to look for another job, or to arrange training for future employment. You must have at least two years' continuous service. You can take the time off within working hours while under notice.
