silent :j:j:j:j cos I told OH about Hammy and he's having a moan that I've said we might be going away. Mr Security!
Anyway, I might just have to recommend a pub to you and if you turn up pretend we don't know each other but Katie wants to join in the birthday celebrations with the lovely birthday boy and his new friend David ;) :rotfl:Oh joy of joys, another milestone reached... I can't even go for a wee in peace now!
I went to get dressed, came back to hear an unfamiliar banging sound... turns out it was Rhys, stood up at the loo, banging the seat lid! _pale_ Promptly removed him, then went to the loo myself, only for him to crawl straight in (left the door ajar so I could hear what mischief he was getting up to next). I love crawling, I really do
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Let's hope he doesn't start opening the loo seat and putting things down the loo. At the mo, everything gets put in the bath, I'm just waiting for him to cotton on to the loo seat!hammyhunter wrote: »:rotfl:
Glam, have you found J's taste in food changing since teething? D has started refusing any king of pureed food or porridge now and only wants finger food....:o
Um, not really.
But then he's a hog.
He had weetabix and strawberries for breakfast, and then had some puree'd food for lunch as I got sent some Plum Baby stuff to test for BB and it was easy to warm up! He'll eat Biscotti til it comes out of his ears!
We are having Roast Beef today with roast potatoes, root mash, roast onion, stuffing (weird I know!), yorkshires, veg and gravy. I can't wait. :drool:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Roast Lamb, Roast Potatoes, Peas, Carrots, Broccoli and Gravy, contemplating making some Yorkshires.
MFD - what had you ordered?
Katie has another Dorothy dress, we were given another bag of clothes at church this morning and it was a bridesmaids dress, it was off with her clothes and on with the dress. I made her put on her Gruffalo overall to eat her lunch.
ETA: Please do Glam cos it's my birthday weekend too, Jack and I share it. :j:j:j:jProud to be dealing with my debts

i wish i was having a good old roast.....
my doritos will have to suffice till i decide what i do want for dinner......
whatever i do decide im sure Landen will interrupt. He took a full 180mls at about 1, and then another 60 about half hour ago, so im hoping for a big feed before bedtime....
also been trying to work on a bedtime routine for him, so he gets into the habit of a longer sleep....he generally has a mini feed at about half 6, then goes on his mat to rock out and has some naked time and then bath at about 7-7.15pm, then another mini feed at about 7:45pm with the side light on, and then he goes down for 8 or thereabouts.... but he generally doesnt fall asleep properly till half 8.....should i try putting in a story or something soothing like that....???
feel like ive hit the earth with a big fat thud this afternoon. Still festering over DH's behaviour this morning and just in general. Landens having a freaky afternoon, ive had to shut the dog up in his pen which i feel horrid about and ive been crying on and off since about 3pm....am just not enjoying my days..... and i feel really guilty for that because I am truly blessed but i just feel like i cant do anything..... and im angry like all the time....will probably take this off in a bit, just needed to get it out of my head, and ive got no friends to talk to.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC - I'd read him a short story when you put him down at 8, does he have any soothing music to listen to whilst he's falling asleep?

Kindof - have you actually checked the orange sticker under your car seat to check the weight it goes to 20lb is unusual most times the weight limits are 22lb (10kg) or 28.6kg (13kg).

Gisi - no storage unit at lidl for us, how did you get on?
Have emailed the mura lady as suggested and just waiting to hear back. Managed a temp fix till we can get new inner tube but won't hold long.
Been to blackbushe Market this morning and got some fab bargains including a huge tub of vanish whitener for £5 so T will have nice White clothes for ages now. Took the mura and was so fab on the rough ground

CAFC I think we have all had a point where we felt useless with a new baby etc and that we couldnt do it, things do get better and easier and usually giving OH a kick up the bum or a good shake will help out.
The best advice i can give is that when it all seems so bad put the baby in the pram and get out, even a quick walk up the street and having people cooing at your georgeous baby usually helps make things a bit brighter. Also we are all here to listen and push out advice onto you PMSL!(you know what i mean
