I think it is as fair a test as any - they would probably argue that it is the amount of sleep that an average child should need.

    3 - I don't think so...not really tried, will report back tomorrow.

AF - can you doctor your quote so 3 can delete her question please :D

Line rental was £11 a month just before i left, i know the basic TV package (with no movies or sports) came to £22.

Its now rules within sky that they tell you what speed broadband you will get, it comes up when they do a check on your line. Takes about 1minute to do the test.

I cant sleep :( I just told DH that im not happy with the way our lives seem to be the same thing every day and he suggested i go make some friends and go out. Grr.

He doesn't understand, i dont want to 'go make some friends' i want our lives to be more interesting. He said its hard to do when we have Lily as we have to time going out in between her feeds and naps. And that we wont be able do things until she starts school.

And then he suggested that we go for walks. In our 2 years of being together we have walked pretty much everywhere, i dont want to walk there again :rotfl:

I was by the shop today at about 1pm :D Its ok, whenever i see somewhere that i know is related to someone i feel a bit stalkerish :o
FIL has offered DH a job in the shop for 6 weeks when MIL has an operation, i think DH is going to turn it down though.

thanks for that info EA ... will have to keep investigating.

does making your lives more 'interesting' have to involve going out? i know of course, some going out would, but what about doing things together/as a family indoors, or local so it doesn't get in the way of Lily's naps etc?

3 - just found it and read, that's awful, sounds like discrimination. Have you thought about the Take a Break type magazines?

Back at work tomorrow so I'm off to bed.

    Night Night.

All we have is the park at the end of the road, but i did suggest some 'indoor' things. I said if we put Lily to bed at 8pm, we could watch a movie. But he said that we wont have time, as we go to bed at 10pm and we can still watch a movie whilst Lily is downstairs with us.

At the moment Lily falls asleep at 8pm(ish) and we take her upto bed at 10, but i want to start putting her up early so she's used to it for when she goes in her own room, but he doesn't want to incase she wakes up and she's on her own.

Usually he just puts his xbox on when we're at home, is why i come on here.

ea, tell me to butt out, but 10pm is really late for a baby lily's age. 8pm is a much more reasonable bedtime and healthier for her to help achieve the 11-12hrs our babies need right now. Plus then u will get ur evening back!! It made a big difference to us when we put Finn down for a proper early bedtime at around 2 months, as suddenly we had the evenings all to ourselves again.

Happy birthday Molly!!! I hope Miss Mollyfrog, formerly Bellyfrog, thoroughly enjoys herself and gets some cake. :D

    Antilop users:

    Does the Antilop fold down?

The highchair we have doesn't fold down at all, and we have to room to store it. So we are wanting one that folds.
Don't quite know why I'm not asleep right now?! :o
Just thought I'd say although the antilop doesn't fold the legs come off really easily so you could realistically remove them and shove it in a cupboard everyday no problem :) Its so easy I have often been really tempted to take it with me when I'm going to a foody place I know has those crap wooden[STRIKE] implements of tourture[/STRIKE] uncomfortable highchairs :p

  • Morning all. EA I can't remember when we did it, but i made a big difference when we started putting Izzy to bed at a proper bedtime, and having the evenings to our selves. Mind you, we still end up with me on the laptop and DH on the playststation. We do have a few multiplayer games, so sometimes I persuade him to play something I can join in with at least.

Jillie I love the pics - I've friended you too (i'm AJT). Back to work today. Boo Hoo!
