I need to start looking at nurserys soon
Most of the ones I've seen say 8am - 6pm. I don't get out of work until 5.45 so it's touch and go that I'll get there for 6 - does anyone know if in general they give you a bit of leeway? Ie would it be a problem if I didnt get there until 10 past? I might have to look at one near where I work rather than near where I live.
Mine charges £5 if you are late - they are open 7-6pm but have 2 shifts for you to choose 7-5 or 8-6, if you want the extra hour a day you pay an additional £2 a child per day. Our prices are £38.11 under 2s and £35.48 over 2's
Congrats GymfriendMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Nursery is a hard thing to work out, I agree they cost too much but then you have to pay to get good staff, if they charge less then they only get young girls working there.Too many children, too little time!!!0

I think i'll join SalesS in an early night.
OH is in work til 3am, and i'm going to visit a friend in Cumbria tomorrow, staying overnight. It was planned months ago, before OH got his shift pattern - typically he's on til 3am again so V is going to his Mum for the night for the first time ever  and J & L are going to my Mum for the night.
I fancy an early night
Was just on HUKD and I think I've been living a rather sheltered life! :rotfl:Nursery is a hard thing to work out, I agree they cost too much but then you have to pay to get good staff, if they charge less then they only get young girls working there.
