I'm sure they will be much happier to have a happy customer than to have lost £10 profit, or whatever they make on a themometer. What a panic for you though. It isn't nice to have a screaming baby in the car when you are on your own at the best of times. Had the rash gone down again by bed time? I don't worry too much about rashes now - Izzy seems to develop them randomly. I get excema, so sometimes I think it is that, but she seems to get heat rash quite often at the moment too, and nappy rash. Poor girl can't win! I just cover rashes in moisturiser and see if that helps, and if not I put some hydrocortisone on instead.

Aww bless her...thanks for the advice. The rash had gone by the time we got home so I'm assuming it was either a heat rash or more likely a result of the frenzied crying he'd been doing

RE baby clubs - Hipp organic also sent me an orange elephant comforter aswell.

Millie's Mum - he seems to be fine thanks, I've check his temp and it's still cool, and he has been smiling. He still isn't quite his usual self tho. He didn't really play in his bath and has been very clingy, especially to me (unusual as Daddy is normally preferred!) He's been refusing to smile at DH then smiling straight away for me! He looks really tired tho and has gone straight into a really deep sleep in his big cot. None of the thrashing about he's been doing in his moses basket recently. I was going to ask Som what she thought and if the store reacted as they should have done.

I've added My Pal Scout to the Christmas list I'm making for T lol.

Mel - I think you are a very popular poster and I hope you wouldn't be judged so if you do want to tell us please feel free to - you could always delete after you got any advice etc. If not I would maybe decide who you feel is the most approachable of the people you feel you could speak to regardless of your profession. Please speak to your DH too x
I've never heard our Violent swear either...

Did you get a particularly aggressive one?

Reading the comps page about it, it's running til midnight and will quieten down later.

I've been doing it all day (when i've remembered), most questions get about 500 answers before they close it. So you've got a 1/500 chance every half hour.

I've never heard our Violent swear either... And it's a favourite in this house too...

When we were deciding our real Violets name (not the teddy), the one down side I had was that it was very close to violent! :rotfl:

I use baby bath in the water as a habit from SCBU where they used water and a wee squirt of baby bath for bum cleaning. I don't use shampoo often on her and I've never actualky used soap or body wash on her! Own brands cos they are cheaper. And a baby oil after baths (1 a week if she's lucky) boots own I think. I hate the smell ofbaby wipes they smell of headache and stick to asda/tesco sensitive because chris is very sensitive to other brands. Pampers sensitive are so bad fir him his skin peels!

I'm very angry with husband right now. We got wood equerries and he left it in the car knowing the car has to be packed tonight or tomorrow so we can leave as soon as he us home from work. But he sat on his !!!! and us now sleeping so I had to bring it in myself. I'm so angry if I was I'll I'd gave to keep going, he sits on his !!!!. Everything has been left to the last min because he spends so long !!!!ing about with his phone!!!
