The most important part about them gagging (IMHO) is that you keep calm. It is when you start to panic that they start to panic and then they find it difficult.
I found it was keeping OH calm. (But that's because I was all calm and relaxed anyway and he's the one who gets all stressed and worried about things.)

Whats everyone having for Dinner? We have sausage stir fry, only because we have to use the sausages and somerfield is pretty much reducing all its stock so i got some stir fry stuff.
Slow cooker "roast" chicken (because it was reduced in the Coop). With spring cabbage and potato (both also reduced at the Coop but not today).

I would love a slow cooker, but most of the things you can cook in it DH wont eat.

I once made him stew and he had 1 spoonful and said "This is disgusting"

As I was typing that I was thinking of me telling hubby to b00ger off out of the way if he was going to cause a fuss and leave Benjamin to do with his dinner as he pleases!

He soon got used to it though as Benjamin just used to spit things out that he had a problem with.

Even now if Benjamin is eating something chewy etc I can say 'let mummy have that bit back Benjamin' and he will spit it out for me :D

Yes, it is to do with iron. I'm very pleased because if they hadn't come back to normal I would have been in a bit of a dilemma about whether it would be sensible to TTC.

Oh well that's great news. Do you have a time planned for starting to TTC? (If you don't mind me asking)
SJ, I think I want to marry you and have your children :rotfl:. I am going to PM you again :D

Not sure how DH would feel about it but if you know how to work a duster and the hoover I'd be up for replacing him :p:rotfl:
    Yay - go Alfie!!

It's ace to see them enjoying their food isn't it! I still remember Benjamins first carrot and broccoli session - he was covered in little green bits off the broccoli but he was beaming from ear to ear like he was the cleverest little boy in the world (which, of course, he is to me ;))

I was thinking that at the time, "oh my god he's going tp gag, it's ok Sarah, keep smiling!" :rotfl:

    This is my DH!!

I've read that the best thing you can do if they gag is to laugh and make funny faces, as it then makes them laugh which causes the offending food to come back up easily :).

So I am officially the most impatient person ever!

Alfie is sat here in his bumbo eating (cold) steamed carrot and courgette! He's really enjoying it! Every time he puts the carrot in his mouth he pulls a face, but he carries on gumming it. He totally demolished the courgette. Oh and he gagged on the carrot _pale_ I could see it coming as I could see he'd bitten a bit off but my heart still just about stopped, he coughed it out though and carried on!

Awww I have such a cute image in my head of little Alfie eating his carrot and courgette.

There's a nursing pillow reduced from £25 to £7.96 on amazon

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001EXG83K/ref=nosim/?!!!!!hotukdeals-21

It's under more buying options rather than the main price
I can't see it :( i'd replace my knackered one for that price :)

Sami When you take pics this afternoon of your pert boobies, will you be sharing? :rotfl:
    not on your nelly :p

MFD (and hammy)- I'm glad you enjoyed the irony :D

Susan - well done on increasing you levels!! what's your secret?

Hammy how funny/crazy about your dad's car! Apparently a lot of cars stolen with the keys get smuggled to russia.

EA - the college thing doesn't sound right to me, i'd call again another day in the hope of speaking to someone else. There are usually a few admin staff that work over the holidays esp admission involved staff

I have a video I might pop on FB later once DH has seen it. At one point he was still sucking the courgette and tried to ram the carrot in there too :rotfl:

EA I don't know what we're having yet. Something late on as DH is out at football yet again and won't be home til 9ish
