HR Admin at a large (national) organisation with a base up here. Sorry, don't want to give away their name, might be bad luck! I've got 20yrs admin experience in different size firms, no direct HR experience but didn't lie on my application about that either.

A little brother of someone has one of these at school. He's only tiny (not in receiption yet) and has been zooming around the playground for a year or so on it!

I think it's supposed to teach them balance, like a trike wouldn't, so going to a bike with no stabilisers is easier.

L was about 6/7 before she got her stabilisers off - I don't know if thats good, bad or average?

Yes, Husband has gone into panic mode because although he knew it was on the cards that we'd have to move, suddenly it's likely to happen.

I'm tempted to turn down this job if it's offered and spend a bit more time looking for something with a longer contract/something else. Meh. I'm also feeling a bit second-thoughty.

Oh. I asked Himself to take care of Miss Molly's nappy and he just brought me a clean one. Nice.

Edit: hugs for Mel (I was still in maternity clothes for a month after Molly was born) and good luck for Tigs. Big waves to everyone else.

SS...its a big move, you're bound to be nervous about making the step back. Im sure you'll know if its the right decision or not x

mel if it helps i still wear a pair of jeans that i had for my pregnancy but they're cosy and i couldnt give a monkeys .... good luck tigs x

Had a lovely day at the meet though. V was lovely! Bless V trying to feed Sugar her tea using the stirrer while Sugar was feeding Molly :rotfl:

Boo maybe Isla will have a better sleep tonigth after her mammoth nap too.

And I have to say that after seeing the Stokkes today in the flesh they're not as bad as I first thought they were I also thought it was quite funny that V cried when put into the Stokke, yet climbed into my £25 asda baby event pushchair herself :rotfl:

Ooh I found that fake baby show repeated so just watching it now :eek:

ETA: Scrap that, Crimewatch is on.



I think we might be going to a Haven next week. Either Hafan Y Mor, or Greenacres. Does anyone have any experiences of these parks? (OH is scared of holiday parks, so it's a prestige/platinum caravan wherever we go).
Mum is recommending Greenacres, she's been a few times with her school and says its a better class of park than Presthaven.
It's OH's only week off until at least end of Sept., so it's either next week or nothing.

(I quite fancied a Scottish or Lakes one, but it seems that as the Scottish school holidays have started, the norther parks have already inflated their prices) :mad:
