V was lovely, the girls going to be an escape artist! Everytime someone opened the door she was off!

Sugar it was lovely to meet you, did you manage to get thd glass jar off gorgeous Molly?

Isla fell asleep five mins after leaving you all and didn't wake until 3.30! Two hour naps are unheard of but she's now very snotty and no matter how often I wipe her nose she seems to permanently be sporting facial caterpillars _pale_

We're going to the car auction shortly to try and get OH a car.

Caz are you all set for your trip?

This is exactly what Henry has been like today, and it is very unlike him. I am assuming that it is due to teething, but not sure.

He's currently guzzling down some fruit loaf having had the leftovers of last night's roast! My boy has quite an appetite.

    Evening all

Had HV round today, and Landen now weighs 9lb 7, so a whole lb heavier than his birth weight. He had lost on his first weigh in, so glad he's put all that back on and then the extra. We were worried because he seems to be taking very small feeds, like 30ml or 60ml every 2 hours, whereas at night he'll take 100ml..... is it possible its linked to the heat we've been having?

Sorry if its a stupid question that I should know the answer to.... its my first time LOL

Boogelly & GISI - Hiya!! T has also had a runny nose the last few days but otherwise he seems fine so I was putting that down to teeth. He did have quite a chesty cough too but that seems to have gone now thank gawd as it sounded awful poor thing.

Boogelly, did you see my waffle the other night about how Im taking T to a festival (only for 1 evening) and how you got on with the ear defenders if you have been to your festival yet?

I don't know CAFC, it sounds plausible though?

I did look like it could do with a visit from a hoover, but I think Molly managed to pick up most of the larger crumbs. :(

MFD I've got Asdas kids 50+ (or it could be 30) and it seems to be ok on V and she's a bit sensitive/rashy with some things (like her Daddy :(), and ok on Liv who gets a little bit of eczema on the backs of her knees with anything too scented.

Food - she'll still eat most things and with a meal, she'll eat the meat/fish part first.
She spits out broccoli - which I find strange because J & L love it - i'm guessing that's something else she's got from Daddy.

And a couple of weeks ago I was so proud of her for using a spoon and a fork - she's regressed now, and prefers to use her hands. :(
She's just been in the bath to get the mashed potato and fish out of her hair. :(

Caitlyn loves broccoli, I just sat her down with one of those birds eye steam fresh rice and vegetable bags and some meatballs... She went straight for the broccoli first :D I gave her a fork and a spoon with it... They seem to be good for flicking food great distances... Not so much for eating...

Aimee came home with a letter from school that started with "as you know" well no actually, this was the first I've heard... But they're putting a "performance of Oliver songs" not the actual show I don't think... Just the shows... They want us to dress the children in victorian clothes... Highlighted, no sequins, neon or princess costumes lol...

Anyone got a spare mob cap and white apron lying around we can borrow?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Heya all sorry for going awol and missing Tara's hen night but my Mum came for a suprise visit :) Have read back as far as the start of the thread but even that was a mission!

Tara - Im sure you had a fantastic day, congrats hun x

EA - bet those 11 days cant go fast enough! Bummer about the car boot too. Oh hows lilys dry skin doing?

MFD - have been using nivea baby here without issue, but MIL who works at a nursery says that bannana boat is really good.

redmel - hugs hun x give yourself as much rest as you can get, I cant imagine how hard a time you must be having, its tough enough with one LO. oh and thats a lovely pic of you and T you posted.

Ladybird - go you, I think its fab you can make clothes and I like the patterns you chose :D

caz - yeay for going away and getting kittens :D I have lots of kitten names but to be honest there all quite personal, tho I did used to have a cat called ethel I think old lady names suit them for some reason lol.

PP - love your DDs dress :D she looked amazing :D

Tigs - very cute pic of Andrew.

Septemberbaby - thanks for the huggies link :)

Beenie - what happened with the dryer?

jenny - sympathies with your situation too, we 'd love another LO soon too, but again its a big money worry as we have an IVA and until thats settled then things are gonna be tight! But I think we'll just go with it as we waited 6 years for T, dont wanna wait that long again! Besides things are changing with the economy so fast if we wait till we can afford it then it'll never happen. We'll jut have to find a way to make it work, but thats just my opinion.

Aless - where in Surrey ar you hoping to move to? So with you on the being jelous about people doing up nurseries, we're in a one bed starter home so T just has a corner of our bedroom. Cant wait till we can move to a 2 bed.

Well here we have a very shouty baby! think its gonna turn into a whinge cos she hasnt napped much today as its been cooler. Oh and she can do do full rolls now too, takes a lil while but have seen her do it 3 times :D

Charlotte eats pretty much anything. She always takes sandwiches apart though, and eats the meat before the veg.

We went to a TGI's near Manchester Airport the night before our holiday, and the toddler menu was chicken shapes, fish shapes or burger. She wouldn't have the chicken or fish as she's never had anything like that before and didn't believe it was chicken/fish., Then when the burger came it had potato head shape things with it. She wouldn't entertain them at all and even though I kept telling her it was potato or funny shaped chips, she wouldn't accept it! She ended up having some of Craig's chips and some of my spicy rice instead.

Suncream: we took Tesco own brand on holiday. Charlotte had F50 on and was fine with it. It didn't leave our skin sticky and it didn't really smell of anything. I never bother with suncream in the UK. Naughty I know :o

Has anyone heard of a balance bike before?

My brother is buying my niece one for her 3rd birthday later this month. It has no pedals and you push it with your feet, then hold your feet up to ride it. He said it's better as you don't need stabilisers.

The boys just had normal bikes. Josh was quite old before he got the stabilisers off (about 7-8) but James was only three and he could ride with no stabilisers.

Just wondering what the benefits of the balance bike are, as it seems very odd to me :o
Here I go again on my own....

Krystal it's not been long since DS had his Victorian Day at school! No apron here though lol.

I got this, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Boys-Girls-Victorian-Urchin-Costume-Outfit-Age-6-8-/150462825583?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Clothes_Children_sFancyDress_RL&var=&hash=item68c695521a so if she wants to go dressed as a boy then you can borrow it :rotfl:

Som- he never got back to me again so it must have been picked up :( booo :(
