I noticed that on you FB. Hope he bucks his ideas up for you soon.

I swear he is a psychophrenic. Sunday big bad mood all day, where he ignored me all day long. And the arseyness just radiated from him. A text apology on Monday (can not use his actual voice to apologise), which I chose to ignore. Then came home from work all happy, and upon noticing that I hadn't made him any tea, asked if I was in a bad mood with him??? I cannot fathom him at all. So it's that or he has worse PMT than me.
  • Congrats to MOTM and Lucy :T

Got to office today, worked 2 hrs, email from OH saying she felt bad.. Commiserated and asked how bad, she said she was having trouble breathing
So came home again, put her to bed and now at park with E in the rain... Need to be back in office in 90 mins for a meeting though! Hoping she feels a bit better by then.
She seemed to think it was some kind of blood-sugary reaction to a bowl of granola : ponder:

Oh my - I hope she is okay. Does she react to food often?

MFD if your around i have been looking into your car seat for Charlie and all the reviews seem really good but i have read about kids sliding themselves down the seat? have you had this problem and do you think it would only happen with skinnier kids? i cannot find anywhere to test the seat out so would have to buy blind in the hope that the lack of straps would keep him in/safe/happier. i have spoke to the nursery today who are also going to look into the seat for me but would love your advice :D

I haven't read anything about kids sliding themselves down the seat? Is it by people who actually have Kiddy Infinity Pro's or 'well meaning' observers who reckon that could happen? I can absolutely, categorically tell you that if you fit the seat properly it couldn't happen!! The seatbelt fits the cusion up against the chest and holds it tight in place like a big cushiony hug. The tension of the seatbelt means that it can't move.

I guess if a baby were so skinny that the cushion didn't touch their body at it's lowest point in the groove then in theory a baby could slide down but that baby would need to be teeny tiny! Krystals Caitlin fitted in it just fine and she is a little dot!

I think it would be a perfect seat for Charlie - he might like the reassurance of a big cushiony hug :D

If you come to Brum you can try one of mine ;)

FWIW, when I first looked at buying a Stokke I read about how someone had seen one 'topple' in a supermarket because a young child was trying to have a look at the baby...we bought the Stokke anyway and hubby and I spent a hilarious few nights when I was still pregnant trying to topple it!!! It clearly cannot be toppled on flat ground - just 'well meaning' nonsense!!

Kindof- I know your question about food was aimed at EA, but when H first started on food I would give him some food before his milk. So he'd have some porridge before his morning milk, and something before his 5 o'clock milk too. Once he was on three meals a day he would have some food at about 12 too. Then gradually he started eating more food so we've now dropped the milk at meal times.

Thanks for that :) I gave him pear puree yesterday he seemed to like it lol

Thanks WM, yes he's a lovely happy baby now but a nightmare when he had major colic, I am so pleased those days are gone lol I just have a whole lot of fun with him now

SJ - E is like that, I get him dressed, within 10 mins it is covered in drool, I think he is going to have to live in bibs lol

Where is this meet everyone is talking about?

Thomas is wearing 3 to 6 months now and they fit perfectly. I need to try and get him weighed this week - think I may be shocked when I do lol

Thats like E lol he is 4 months and wearing 6-9 months clothes, I am going to get him weighed next tuesday, he was last weighed 4 weeks ago and he was 16lbs 1oz, so I think he will be at least 17lbs, he is on the 99.6 centile for his length!

Its pretty do much this -
    7:30am - 7oz bottle
    11am - 7oz bottle & 1 cube of puree after the bottle
    2:30/3pm - 7oz bottle
    6pm - 7oz bottle & 1 cube of puree after bottle
    10pm - 7oz bottle (sometimes)

I am so jealous of this lol, this was E's food for yesterday:
    6.00am - 9oz bottle
    9.35am - 9oz bottle
    12.40pm - 9oz bottle
    3.40pm - 9oz bottle
    4.40pm - 1 cube pear puree
    7.25pm - 9oz bottle
    10.45pm - 9oz bottle
    2.45am - 9oz bottle

We have our first tooth :) yay lol, I am so loving being a Mam, he is just so cute and happy, I mean he still cries every now and then usually when his routine is disturbed and he is overtired but I can handle it more cos its not 24/7 like it used to be

E has started pulling his dummy part way out and sucking his thumb and dummy at the same time lol

When did everyones babies start sleeping through the night? I know E is still young, but he still wakes up for 2 feeds and knocks back 9oz milk each time, he has about 60oz average a day, I tried him on the hungry baby milk but he didnt take well to it, he still has quite a sensitive belly and we ended up with a mega screamthon and very bad smelly wind again the day after he had it, so he is sticking to the colic milk still

E has discovered a squeal noise he can make with his voice lol so cute, he does it all the time (slightly crap when he is doing it at 5am lol)

I'm sure the stokke isn't any less stable (in fact I reckon its more stable) than a normal pram/buggy that topples when parents put too much shopping on the handle!

I'm not sure how long really 3 but I reckon 48hrs is plenty of time for a business to respond to you, longer is just taking the P IMO

not sure if it has already been said but is there an autistic society or similar charity you could contact too?

Thanks Sami - I did the National Autistic Society yesterday and i've just done Wirral Autistic Society now.

I think I might post on the Autism thread to see if they come up with any other ideas.

    Well now you mention it..........:p
Mine did topple once, but there was no baby it it and it was helped to topple by a stroppy 13yo boy.

Aww bless Elliot screaching! He'll stop when he learns the next thing, I'm sure. Alfie slept through from quite early on but every baby is so different, there's really no usual time I think. Saying that he has taken to waking at 5am for a feed again every few nights.

Glad to hear Benjamin is feeling better and hope you;re not too tired from being up so much, MFD.

My mum has just called in to take Alfie for a walk down to M&S. I really ought to take all my tins, dishes, equipment etc out of the big cupboard in the dining room and put it all back in a more secure and organised way but I don;t know if I can be bothered, despite the fact that I currently risk my life (almost lol) every time I try to remove something from it. I call it the jenga cupboard!

    Food first anyway.

Just a thought for 3, please ignore if someone else has said this or i'm stating the obvious, do you have any insurance policies i.e. house insurance, or some bank accounts which offer legal cover as they would help you write a really official letter stating the correct legal acts etc which is often enough to bring the dispute to a quick end.

I'm off to google the car seat people are chatting about
