I don't know whether to be happy or sad that all the stuff I ordered from Next is too big for me.... I got 2 pairs of tights out of 15 items!

OMG though, the bride's sister had her son there, 17 months old - and I've never, ever seen such a badly behaved kid. They were like an ad for What Not To Do. They just indulged him constantly, giving him a little cup of coffee at breakfast was only the beginning  (not decaffeinated, right from the common pot). He ended up knocking the groom's ten year old son over while he was being best man!!!!!

I am totally  at giving a 17 month old coffee!! Benjamin is 16 1/2 months and hasn't even had juice yet!! My poor baby only gets water and milk, and I don't intend changing that anytime soon.

But I would also add that it is fairly difficult to 'control' toddlers at this age because their understanding is more limited than their capabilities if that makes sense.

Not that I would let Benjamin run riot, but I am victorian mum :D

go with happy - you can always reorder :)

sorry to hear everyone's holiday woes, here was me feeling put out that I can't get away this year, maybe it's more hassle than it's worth!

Well, my monster that doesn't sleep is...asleep! Granted he's starfish style on his front on my tummy but for how little he's slept during the day recently, I really don't care, just glad he's getting some rest :)

3- I've just seen your post and I am both absolutely livid and really upset on your behalf. I am totally stunned and horrified that they have sent you home and I really hope you get to speak to the guy in charge and it all sounds like a bit of a farce. How dare the 'healer' try and heal J like that. I actually think many 13 would have reacted similarly in his situation, autistic or not. They blatantly do not offer what they advertise and I would be looking to gain as much publicity as possible about the way you have been treated.

No that's a good idea - any publicity will help/or at least make me feel better!

Its a long shot I know, but bhs anyone got Keith Duffys mobile number?

Sorry but that made me :rotfl:. I do think Jillie's suggestion is a good one though, and you might be able to find our who his agent is and contact them?

OMFG at giving a toddler coffee . Glad you had a good holiday, although I am gutted to hear about the Stokke damage. That really sucks.

BM- I hope you feel better soon, but if I were you I would go and see the Dr as it does sound like you are really run down. Do you take a multi-vitamin? It might help?

Tia- I'm sorry to hear all your Next stuff is too big, but I guess that is a muc nice feeling that it all being too small. Still a PITA though.

I've been charity shopping this morning- gotta love it! An M&S blouse, Next top, skirt and a book for under a tenner!

    hi all,

pulled myself out of my self imposed exile as 3, like everyone else i am seething that what happened to J and your family.

i know you have the contact info for Corrie, but i just thought i have seen Keith Duffy on Loose Women a few times talking about his charity work, marathon running http://www.justgiving.com/keithduffy, so wondered if you are trying all avenues, whether an email there might be a possibility?

Also, trying to think from my AQA days that you can find out people's agents. Might be worth the £1 fee to AQA to find out ??? -- i dont work for them anymore. does this help? http://www.lisarichards.ie/site/presenters/keith-duffy-presenter

Molly's had a taste of ginger beer off Husband's finger, but no juice and certainly no coffee.

I don't expect people with toddlers to keep them under strict control at all times, but it infuriates me when someone's noisy child is running riot in a place where it's clearly not appropriate and the parent/s are just looking on with an indulgent smile. The child ran up and down the aisle throwing rose petals and shouting during the wedding and in the end his grandmother (mother of the bride) picked him up. He howled and kicked her, but his father, sitting there clueless, just sat there rather than taking him a short distance away where he could have run about in the open without being a disturbance. I felt very sorry for him as well as

It's one of the PITA things about parenting, surely, that sometimes you have to do stuff you'd rather not because if you don't your kid will ruin someone's day?
