3 - I was wondering if there was a way of you warning other parents before they make the same mistake and book a holiday. Is there some kind of forum that you could post on?

Or perhaps if you google for reviews and put something on there?

Although if you are trying to keep quiet until some kind of refund is settled you may want to hold your water for a while ;)

Speaking of which - you posted about this place a couple of times on here - is it worthwhile doing a search and editing just in case?

I almost ranted on their facebook page last night, but they'd just remove it.

I do intend to make other people aware, once the refund is sorted out!

I could start with the autism and disability threads on here. If you search for reviews of the camps there is a disturbing lack of them, like none!

I may search here for the name and edit it out for now.

I am going to try and not let this turn into a moaning post, but I just wanted to tell you all that you are WRONG! My baby does hate me.

She is approaching 5wks now and has smiled at dh TWICE....she hasn't smiled at me once, even though I am with her about 80% of the time....I passed her over to dh yesterday after I had been holding her for ages and she grinned away at him(for the second time, he said). She barely ever settles when I am holding her, she just claws and scratches me while screaming. I pass her over over to dh and she snuggles up and goes off to sleep, or just lays there staring adoringly up at him.

She also hates the swing, and her dummy. I am trying infacol today instead of the Dentinox colic drops as they don't seem to be working.....I have also ordered some Dr Brown bottles in with the shopping as she is just screaming/in pain every evening from bout 7/8pm until around 11ish:( On top of her being a right miserable grump all day, I am seriously at an all time low:(

Sorry, that did turn into a bit moan:o

HUGS, I know exactly how you feel cos that is HONESTLY what E was like, I could never settle him, and he never smiled at me and I felt like he hated me
But now he is so lovley and smiles at me all the time, and if he is crying and OH has him as soon as he comes to me he is smiling and laughing

And E was exactly the same with the wind, we tried everything, infacol, gripe water etc

In the end what worked for us was tommee tippee anti colic bottles, colief drops and aptamil comfort milk which is for babies with colic

She will get through it, I never thought E would but he has, if you ever want to talk chick I am here cos honestly thats exactly what E was like.

What we found calmed E down was strapping him in his car seat and rocking him, he cried at first still but after a few mins he stopped and then fell asleep

Keith Duffy's daughter has autism and he has spoken a lot about how hard it is etc for parents and childrenin getting the right education, help and support. i'm not sure exactly how to get hold of him or but would it be worth a try?
i mean, obvioulsy he cant help what has happened but it might help you to resolve things with the camp...

if you get what i mean...sorry typing/thinking today is a bit shoite

3, I've already been on the phone to Easyjet. It was in a travel bag and the bag itself is scuffed from being dragged along the ground. It has wheels so you can pull it, but from the pattern of damage on the bag it's obvious how the frame - and the security clip on the seat - have been broken. The little green security clip has fallen inside the mechanism, so while it's still secure the clip's not there any more

I am raging. One of our suitcases was damaged as well - how do you damage a solid case?!?!?!?!

The holiday itself was lovely, but damn the trip home yesterday was horrific. Molly was a dream on the long haul flights - we got the bulkhead/baby seat both ways but on the way home we couldn't use it because of turbulence so she slept the whole way on my lap. Then we had a four-hour family sleep in a hotel day room, and then when it was time to head back to the airport ... nightmare

The line for Easyjet went right through their cattle grid and past seven other sections into and around the main hall. We were in it for almost two hours and even then they had to call us forward when our flight was closing. The closed-flights area had no lines and everyone was rushing and panicking and surging forward, poor Molly was all but hysterical so I made everyone get out of my way so I could get her out. Unfortunately in my rush to make sure she was ok I left Husband's hand luggage bag in the crush of people and didn't notice till we were checked in. I went back to find it and it was gone, spent ten minutes running around following the normal security procedure, then got back to find Husband and Molly looking for it too, I eventually found the woman in charge of the call-forward area who'd seen it, seen what happened and just put the bag to the side rather than letting the people who are supposed to know about unattended bags know about it.

Then the line for security was ridiculous and they'd closed the special assistance line. They moved us right through because of Molly's increasing hysteria (we took some people we met in the line with us, whose flight was boarding right then that minute) - and they xrayed a pair of flip flops of mine and took Molly's pants down to check that the metal-beeping in her crotch was the snaps on her vest

And after all that the flight was an hour late  my blood pressure was just returning to normal when they gave us back the pushchair and it was broken. And of course the easyjet desk was empty, the !!!!ers, so we had to place a report with the airport guy who was passing it on

Oh my God 3, I'm also raging on your behalf!!!! However, I forget where you were going, could someone PM me please??

How DARE they try to heal your son. And if he had broken a window at any other place, I doubt you would be sent home. Surely they have insurance for this type of thing, especially if they are catering to families where accidents like this will happen?

Definitely do not take it lying down, I wonder how many other families have been treated like this?
