Was a bit scary tonight because as I was doing it I turned around and Jack was climbing up the side of the bath and was about to fall in
He was like a monkey with his feet halway up the bath panel and his arms hooked over the side of the bath.
That's why we now have a stool next to the bath. (Although I think Alice was quite a bit older than Jack when she started trying to do it herself.)

Morning. Finishing my cake today but not much else on. Sis is coming over to say hi in a bit a today and I want to get to the gym this afternoon / evening. If we can get dinner early enough I might go to gym after Alfie is in bed. Might pop to asda too as I want one of those big storage buckets for storing Alfie's toys in and I want another little chest of drawers for my baking stuff as my current one is overflowing.

Bruno that is an epic day. I feel as though you need a hug. Can you laugh now at the bed collapsing or are you not quite at that stage yet? I'm afraid I may have laughed a little ;) You did well to get the mattress dry though. Hope you have a better day today.

It's interesting to read about people who weren't allowed junk food/sweets etc. going mad for them later on because my brothers and I weren't allowed sweets and really sugary things when we were children and I don't think any of us go particularly overboard on those kinds of things now. I wonder if it depends on how it is done as to what effect it has?

ETA: Or maybe we just notice the people where it has gone wrong and had a bad effect?

Morning all, I did read back yesterday just never got around to posting. We did go swimming in the end yesterday just took T to the regular session, was a little more expensive and the pool was busier but we got longer and the rapids and flumes were open. Took T on the rapids which she loved but will be a while before she's ready for the flumes! Went to Bil's for a BBQ after and spent the afternoon eating way too much and chilling in their garden, the weather was perfect as not too hot or cold. T was shattered and went to bed easily which was fab :)

Seems yesterday was a day for teeth :D Yeay to David and other bubs with new teeth x

Caz - good to see you around, you seem more upbeat x tho I know from past experiance its not that easy x

Bruno - eek at your mare of a Saturday, I wont ask about Sunday but you have my sympathy and admiration for doing a fab job.

EA - Yeay for getting moved :D

Cant remember much else (sorry), not sure on our plans here today other than a ton of washing! Fur ball has a poorly eye its red and weepy and he looks so sorry for himself :( He's supposed to be getting his hair cut tomorrow but as he doesnt like that at the best of times I need to try and get it moved.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls

    yuck!!

Kian discovered the cats food on saturday and his water bowl. he spent a few minutes 'splashing' the water before i realised what was keeping him so quiet. hasnt eaten the food though. did make a beeline for the litter tray so quickly moved him out of the way.

Another example of the incompetence of the CSA...

First they sent my ex-ex (DS donor) a letter saying i'd closed the claim for Amber....... (!!!) even though Amber isn't his kid and i hadn't closed a clam for Amber!!! Posted about it a while ago..

Anyway, rang them a few weeks ago to see if i was ever gonna get any money for Amber as he now has a job. They were like "oh he's not on the system..." !!! When he signed off JSA he just somehow disappeared and she said she'd sort it.

And the latest one.... Ex says they've sent him a letter regarding Amber <his surname>.
What the fooooooooooooook???? I've had many arguments with him about the fact she has MY surname and will never ever ever get his and they just stirred his anger up again by reminding him of that fact.

Howwwwwwwwwwww the heck does this happen? Surely it's all automated from the computer?!?! They are so bad it's laughable.

I think I saw you in the pool! Does T have an orange swim seat? We were there too but when I saw you you were over the other end of the pool and the waves were just starting! Glad you enjoyed it, I think that pool's really good, nice temperature, plenty to do. The teaching pool I think is a lot colder.

Morning all, glad to hear of all the teeth, not so much the pox. Think we're getting sharp teeth here as we had a disturbed night from teething on saturday for the first time ever.
