    Morning

Up early and off to boot camp.

Nothing else planned for the weekend, but plenty at home to keep me busy. My honeysuckle and trellis blew down yesterday morning in the high winds. Will have to get the drill out and fasten it back onto the porch wall.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

Morning everyone. Hope everyone and their babies had a good night's sleep. Caitlin slept well but I've been awake on and off since 4:45. What's all that about?!?

Miserable-looking day today, so no plans this morning apart walking to the post office to post Caitlin's birthday thank you cards. This afternoon we're off to John Lewis to have Caitlin's imprints done. She was bought a double print for her Christening, so we waited until she'd turned one to have it done. They look nice on the website, so I hope the finished product is as nice.

    Morning all :)

Wizadora that is fab :) (the walking I mean).

3 it is frustrating isn't it. I'm visiting a friend for the weekend in a few weeks, and no idea how that will go. (not even sure what the sleeping arrangements will be. She has a little one who wasn't very good at going to bed either last time I was there!

In school the headmaster said they were not allowed to write on each others shirts and they got a lecture on graffiti and ruining property and stuff. The minute they were out of the school gates, they all wrote on each other while the head had a face on him like he was sucking a wasp. I never noticed that but James told me afterwards.

Love and hugs to everyone else who needs them xx

But that is what you are MEANT to do on your last day - it is the rules!

    Well done Daniel!

Dora, do you mean a couple of lb or a couple of oz? If it was lb, didn't the HV say anything to your CM?

Have a good time at bootcamp Becles.

I just looked in his book and in April he was nearing 22lb, apparently it was a shirty HV and she said No he's fine and that was it, but also commented on the fact he wasn't walking yet. Good job I wasn't there really because I'd have said something like "have you seen how fast he gets around on his knees? Why would he want to walk and slow himself down" :rotfl: My CM said she felt quite intimidated as she has never been to one of these clinics before and when she had to undress Daniel she was worried what they would all think of her as he is covered in bruises (because he bounds about at 90 mph)

I am hoping he'll be like my little brother was, as he was skinny when younger. Saying that though when I was little my parents had to be called into school because they thought my parents weren't feeding me I was so skinny, hmm I wonder where it all went wrong :rotfl:

Dora - yeay for lil walking bubs x

Chopy - we had one of those imprints done when T was 9'weeks there really lovely. If there like the company we used you get to choose the colour of the clay and frame too. We want another when she's a bit older too.

Hoping to go to the parish fair later tho OH has overtime and not sure when he finnishes! Also need to fit in a food shop at some point as tomorrow we've been invited to a BBQ at bil's.

Oh and another rubbish night here with T waking every hour! Really hope it's a growth spurt and we get back to norm soon. I had thought it was the heat but it's coer and she's still doing it :(
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls

:( for a bad night. I remember them well and still have them occasionally now :(

Yeh, I think we get to choose the colour of the clay and the frame. I was going to go for pink and natural, as that looks nice on the site. What did you go for?

If you're worried, then I would book an appointment to see your own HV or Doctor. At least then it's gone on the record that you took him to see someone (yesterday's visit and conversation won't have been recorded officially, I wouldn't have thought) and it can set your mind at rest.

However, it does sound like it's a family trait so they may not be concerned at all.

    Morning:)

    3 - I am free all day Tuesday:D

SJ - What is the feasibility of you making a cake for me. Would you have time/space to do it and how could I pay/collect it....not sure if you are a bit far for me to come and get it, with our dodgy car! I really don't want to buy one from a shop though, and yours are lovely.

T went 11-4 and then gobbled milk and straight back to sleep until 7:D

All the talk of weight has reminded me, I got T weighed on wednesday at 3wks old exactly....she was 9lb 1oz which is what K was when born haha x I have had to change her teats, she is on Avent bottles and was using the 1mth flow from birth, recently she had been faffing and falling asleep etc while drinking, so we have changed to the vari-flow which are apparantly from 3mths and she is far better now. She gulps down 120mls most feeds:)

Off to the church today for the Baptismal/Blessing preperation assembly.......it is 2hrs long!! My mum is coming to look after the kids for me, but I really don't want to leave my baby:( & :D the happy face is because I am happy that I am starting to feel like this, as opposed to not caring one way or the other!!

    xx

Katie just fell out of bed - no drama, she just rolled over and there was no bed left, she's in a toddler bed so it's quite close to the floor.

My mum says when I was younger I fell out of bed, didn't wake up just rolled under the bed. She came in to check on me and all she could see was my bare butt sticking out from under the bed :rotfl:

Wow, you are so talented. Do we get to see a pic of the finished product?

If it is good I'll put it on my website on Tuesday. That print set looks fab. We bought a DIY kit from M&S but haven't done it yet. I love baby hand and footprints! We have a canvas up in the living room with Alfie's footprints on and all the family who have had bithdays since he's been here have had a print in their cards.

    Well done Daniel!!!
