My sister is staying in the gables hotel....

I was thinking of checking out the local chain hotels too Aless.... was thinking I might get a cheapy deal, but think I am best to book asap just in case we can't get a room closer to the date.

Red...how far away was it from Gretna??

Hmmm.... I've just taken another look as my memory isn't too good, and I think it's just under an hour's drive - probably a bit far, sorry.

He's a dumbass, he changed his number and now he's texting me from new number.

Well he sent me a text this morning saying about how his 2 kids come first and he'd do anything for them etc etc, hence me telling him to shove his cash. He really doesn't give a monkeys about Amber. I'm baffled as to how anyone could be like that? My friend's husband says he'd have camped out on my doorstep from due date onwards, so i guess not all men are like this :p
  • LOL - maybe my husband isn't as clever as he thinks he is! He just forwarded me the ticket confirmation which has a time of 14:25 on it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

At least he managed to book for the day and show that he told me he booked for earlier :D

I have a simple rule when out with a pram or a trolley. I ask once, politely, for you to move and if you don't I ram you then say 'oooooooppppps, did you not hear me when I asked you to move?'. I got this fat teenager a peach when she cheekily turned her back on me and said to her mates 'bloody folk wi weins!', proper rammed her, smiled and said 'whoops, I couldn't avoid your fat !!!! there'. Her mates were laughing at her and she didn't even have the nerve to say anything back.

    Yay Beenie :T

I text OH, Are you aware that it is your mums birthday on Tuesday?

    Reply: No.

Seriously, is it all men or just mine? I'm sick of being the only one to know when birthdays are and buying the bloody presents. Really wish I could just say stuff it and not bother, and let him get the crap from her for not remembering.

I can't be arsed using the brain power to think of yet another present that she won't show even the slightest bit of interest in.:(

Yep, my husband's the same. I wanted to get our wedding date engraved on our rings so that he wouldn't forget, but when I mentioned it he asked 'Why? You can remind me anyway'!

If the situation was reversed and men were the ones who kept babies in their bellies, I wouldn't f*cking leave one while my baby was in his belly at all!

Busy day here and terribly grouchy baby. She's asleep again, has been down for just under two hours AGAIN. Hopefully it perks her mood up some.

Ladybird why did he give up?! I'm rubbish for sticking at ANYTHING, this is going to be a major challenge... The T175 course is apparently tedious and lots of writing compared to other computing courses, but it was either that or maths :o:o Might still do a maths one yet

Because it was cutting into precious drinking time. He was doing the course on his laptop in the pub mostly, and it got too hard to be able to get on with it there I think - the first course was pretty straight forward to start with at least, but by the end of the second one he was actually having to put some effort in. He has all kinds of wonderful ideas, but won't follow through with them if they require him to do any work. (not that I'm one to talk :rotfl:)

And up yours to your kh ex too.x

Speaking of birthday presents, mine arrived in the post today. After a lot of deliberating I bought myself this picture and also bought this one for Izzy. Now I need to get them framed - I expect that will cost more than the pictures did, but never mind.
