Morning all, I got a phone call from my mum late last night, this new man of hers seems to be already starting to be controlling. As you all know I was asked to help my mum look around some places yesterday, which I did. Then when they went back to his he told her I took over etc, which I didnt I just asked the practical questions such as when is the property avaliable, how much, and what terms up front. Apparently that is taking over. Secondly she worked a night shift last night and when she went to bed there was a bottle of milk in the fridge, when she got up it was all gone so she couldn't even have a coffee etc before setting out, he was expecting her to get because he was off work. I just told her that I will back off if that is what she wants, but he seems to be a control freak.

DNO don't worry about raniting, it does sound like he's a bit of a control freak (a bit may be an understatement.
Pooks, I think I've worked out what happened...no one deserves to be treated like that

You're right Down, you weren't taking over. I always thought when women and men looked round properties it is usually the women who go for the 'feel' of the place and the men who look at the practicalities. That is why Kirsty on L,L,L always says you have to sell it to the woman.
.....and I'm afraid if he'd drank the last of the milk in my fridge I would view it as a capital offence. You can't leave someone without milk in the morning.
Justifiable rant methinks !

OK I will start off with an apology because I am sure I am going to regret posting this
To me it sounds like bot you and your mum are a wee bit obsessed with the word controlling! My god she has branded you controlling for asking prospective landlords questions most people would see this as helpful, and then you have branded her new boyfriend as controlling because he drank all the milk!
What is wrong with the 2 of you? Just get on with life, if she thinks you interfere then dont and you certainly cannot label her boyfriend as a control freak because he drank the milk!
Dear oh dear I know its dreary outside but durely you cn find some other way to entertain yourself??
As said apologies if I offend, I dont mean to but its hardly a hangin offence is it? Maybe you are a bit controlling who knows but lol please drinking the milk........................."You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
UP I don't mind or take offence
There is lots of things that he has said or done, that indicate that he is "controlling" I was asked to help so I did. But I have now come to the conclusion that I really couldn't care less, I have got too much on my own plate to deal with. I told her as much.TOTAL AT START £13606.90 27/03/2018

One TMA submitted! Yeah. Who would have thought finding out the rate of tax for off shore bank accounts would have been soo hard!! Research for my assignment.
