Im waiting for exdw 2 tk ds +dd 4 her access.
Longer story, sat in the kitchen for my ex to pick up the children for her access time. I will then be going to help my mother find some new digs and then I may pop over to one of my female friends off my course (although she wants to date me) apparently her wireless router isnt working. Just not sure how the girl friend would feel, but she has nothing to worry about.TOTAL AT START £13606.90 27/03/2018

You are right, it is crazy to go over there isn't it?
Maybe I will just tell her I am house hunting with my mother.
In other news I had 4 cans of carling last night, and it helped me to loose some of the stress. I think I need to start looking at things differently. It helped to watch the tv series grumpy old men. I think I am a grumpy young old man haha. I think it is about time that I really pulled myself together and got on with things. try to get rid of most of the debt I have, and at the same time start to work towards being self sufficient and less dependent on others.
One quick question. what sort of % of income should go towards debt repayment after the necessary bills? I know as much as possible, but in order to feel alive and not so trapped along with paying the debts off?TOTAL AT START £13606.90 27/03/2018

Morning
Hope you all have lovely weekends. I haven't got anything planned except housework! I haven't really done any during the week with feeling so crap coming off the antid's so it looks a bit of a mess.
Downnotout - have a play around with the snowball calculator - you can put in different scenario's and it could help you decide which debt to pay first and how much etcOD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Morning all!
DNO, amongst all the spreadsheets I maintain with budgets/debt free plans etc, I use one which shows each month's budget plus a pie chart showing the proportion of income devoted to each area -standard bills, spends, one-offs and debt repayments. For the latter, I'm on 27% at the moment, but trying to increase it to at least 33%.
I find it to be another fun(ish!) challenge as part of my debt free plans!I'm a...I'm a real traditionalist of course0 -
Tenmah, my situation was not born out of poor credit card or loan management, and all my accounts are old and no longer occurring interest. Only 2k of my debt is part of a loan and cc. Those accounts defaulted in 2007 and only the loan DCA occasionally send me letters of demand every couple of months. Well I think they are starting to step up their actions slightly but we shall see. My CC has not contacted me for years, which is a little un nearving (I know a well known recovery comapny that do alot of work for cc company) keep searching my file every couple of months, but I have tried to contact the cc on many occasions and they are less than helpful. In fact I go through to some indian call center who can not understand what I am saying. In the end I am left with the option of sitting it out for another 2 years until it becomes Statute Barred or write to them and try to sort it out.
They other 7k of debt is all supplier accounts from my failed business. 2 of which took me to court to obtain CCJ's. The rest of the accounts are between 400 and 600 pounds. So I am not sure if they are chasing me or not. They all have my address and none of them have bothered to contact me for nearly 2 years.

Morning all.
I`m sat watching Saturday Kitchen in a caravan in Wales. We`ve come down to Hafen-y-Mor for one of our Haven Sun holidays (Fri-Mon) Its glorious weather & today i think were heading off the where 60`s tv programme the prisoner was filmed. Its lovely to have a break after a week of completely re decorating the home to be able to get it on the market to sell. I didn`t realise how stressful it was/is with regards to the whole house selling thing i`ve only ever moved once & that was 16yrs ago from mum & dad`s to where i am now! As you can imagine i didn`t have half the stuff to sort through then....
Happy Days everybody hope its a good one for you whatever it may bring xAT LBM 7/1/08 (£24,018.09)- 25/09/11 (£13,032.25) - 26.04.15 - £6,429.70
