Moan over... with that in mind I worked today until 3pm and am spending the rest of today and all of tomorrow trying to relaxx and get rid of the permanant chest pain i have from stress and anxiety ready for monday. My OH has tidied and cleaned everywhere today and is sorting everythign out so i don't have to do anything - for whihc i am so greatful.
ok... hugs to all who follow , and to those who have already posted.
I'm considering a pay drop for less stress - I think it's worth it. Chest pain sounds worrying - your health is worth more than a job.0 -
Morning all and special hellos to those worrying about work - its not fun is it when you dread every day - hope it gets better for you all soon.
I gave up my stressful wellpaid job to retrain as a teacher (stressful but in a different way) - I now earn about half of what I did but my new job is in the same village as I live with what seem like nice colleagues and kids. I'm finding it harder to pay off what's left of my debt (about £2000 loan due to finish next year and £5000 on a CC:eek:) but I'd rather be sane and a little bit concerned about money than away from home all of the time, miserable and dreading the next trip away (which were a couple of times a month for up to a week at a time anywhere in the world mostly on my own).
Anyway, my little list for today....- Walk dog for free exercise (done 1)
- Investigate boiler making scary buzzing noise (sounds like something is vibrating) - hope its not a big thing:eek:
- Going for all you can eat indian buffet today for £8 (hopefully OH will pay:p)
- Do one load of washing - last chance for anything going on hols on Sat
- Look at hoover that started to die yesterday - its only a few months old so it may go back to the shop if it won't ressurect itself - why do things all break at the same time:mad:
- Read library book
- Checked banks
- Do any surveys that come
- Clean bathrooms
- Do a teeny bit of lesson planning (1 hr max)
- Maybe clean car inside and out

I din't have a particularly productive day yesterday, so will have to make up for it todayBeencounting wrote: »
So, today (or tomorrow), I will:- Check bank and update spreadsheet - done
- Check freebies/low spends boards for bargains - done
- Do some comps
- Surveys - done, nothing there

- Costco monthly shop & keep to budget - done, kept to budget

- Fill a bag to take to the CS on Monday
- More HC, line dry & ironing
- All food from stores - done

- Put at least five things on ebay
- Chase up refund from ebay seller - they're ignoring my emails  - still nothing :mad:
- General clean of all the bedrooms
. It's very overcast here today, with rain forecast later, so hoping to get the washing finished and dried soon!
((Hugs)) to all with work stress, I'm with you there and would love to down-salary for less stress, but finances won't allow that yet
.
To try to keep motivated, I have a spreadsheet which shows the difference between my monthly minimum payments and the amount I'm actually paying. I'm then thinking to myself that the difference equals, say, one days salary or a day a week that I could give up (ie, go part-time), but still meet my minimum payments. It's a mind game of course as I don't know whether going part-time would be accepted, but it helps to keep me going! Hope that makes sense!!:)

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
