When did you order it? Was it from the new batch? I was hoping the new bags would have less jersey basics and more different stuff.
I ordered it ages ago but it is from the new batch as I had to wait because they were sold out I can't imagine getting anything over 99p for each thing on ebay.0 -
Hm, I was quite pleased with my first box that I ordered a few weeks ago, so I decided to order a second one, having read that other people had ordered more than one box and got different items. So I was REALLY disappointed when the box arrived to find that the items were exactly the same as the first box, except for a black long-sleeved T-shirt :-(
It actually had fewer items in it too- as the first box had a wooden bracelet in addition to the other stuff.
So now I'm stuck with this duplicate box and can only get an exchange, not a refund, grrr!!!0 -

See my previous posts about what you can and can't be charged for returning a goody bag.
It should only cost you the postage to return it. There is a freepost address on Peoeple Tree's website but I don't think this is for returns as these have to be sent to a different address, it seems.
I realise People Tree claims to be fair trade but that does not excuse it not treating its customers fairly too.0 -

I would ignore that since you still have your statutory rights. Unless your are ok to be out of pocket because it is fair trade, I would ask for a full refund and pay the postage to return all items.
"You also have the right to cancel your purchase entirely if you let us know in writing within 7 days of receipt and return all the items. If you cancel your purchase we will refund your total purchase amount."

I'm not ok to be out of pocket because it is fair trade because I think the fairly traded element would go to the people who make the clothes, not the company. What I am trying to say is that the fair trade price has been paid and any extra I pay won't go to help anyone.0 -
I wouldn't be either, but I did not want to offend anyone.0

sorry to be dense folks but I am not sure what my statuatory rights are, I have looked through all the posts and I am just more confused now - I sell online and if a customer of mine returns something I pay their postage to return it but I don't pay their original postage back, if they want to exchange I don't charge them any postage at all.
So I have a box I have spent just under £40 on (including postage). I don't want any of it, can't get the money back on ebay cos it is all low price stuff. Thinking about it I don't want to risk another box, especially if it costs me another £4.50 in postage.
Legally, am I entitled to a refund for the box and the original postage, the box and both postages, the box and my postage back, or just the box?0
