I ordered one for my Wife. sadly the size isnt as generous or I was overly optimistic about her figure.
Either way I have a size 12 box that I'm going to be sending back unless another money saver wants it at cost?

By the way I found a voucher code for 15% off so the box owes me £34.25 delivered.

I will do some pics but essentially it was:

green t shirt with blue tree and small mammal, written wording, "people tree fair trade".
white t shirt that simply has, " unexploited" in black
    plain olive t shirt
olive green one armed t shirt thingy
    pink stripey tunic dressy thing

I could photo and list it on ebay.

Truth be told I'd like a swap with a 14 but the site is showing sold out, unless anyone else was wishing to trade their 14 for my 12?

My box arrived, I'm reasonably pleased:

size 10 box but it's all quite big:

    - cable knit cream beanie hat, I very much like it
    - cropped denim culottes, I like them but they don't fit brilliantly. A longer top would be good with them and I'll be able to wear them.
    - cream embroidered blouse, I love it but it's a bit big so it needs darts in the back/fitting round the waist
    - red jersey top, truly hideous but the fabric is nice so I'm going to do something with it
    - People Tree T-shirt, I don't wear branded clothing but it'll be fine to sleep in/paint in/whatever
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy

I like the sound of that unexploited t shirt :) My bag was a size 8 so can't help with a swap and to be honest, the rubbish that was in my bag you wouldn't want to anyway!

On a brighter note, I sold the dress from my bag on ebay for £8.37 bringing the cost of my bag down to £24.13 for 4 items, going to list a couple more items and just keep the 1 top that I like, although I'll be surprised if the other items go for more then 99p! :rotfl:

I have still not received my bag yet, ordered it on 1 Nov, and the money has been taken on my CC, might e mail them and see where it is.

Well, they say that the measure of a company is not whether they get things wrong, but more how they put things right....
I have received a very nice apologetic email with a freepost address and the promise that a replacement bag will be in the post to me the end of this week.
All from the customer services manager and all thanks to Floydy for the tip off.
    Will keep you posted.

Do we take the freepost parcel to the post office?

  • Hi,

Has anyone had problems with delivery?
My bag has not turned up and I called People Tree..they said that it was dispatched on 5th Nov. Royal Mail can't trace it though because they send them by 2nd Class Post, and so there's nothing else they can do.
I've asked for a replacement, but have to wait about 3 more weeks as the new bags (yes, there'll be more) wont be ready for dispatch until the end of next week.

A bit disappointed..that means its ultimately taken 5 weeks for delivery with a £5 charge :-(
  • Thats unfortunate Dunners85, when we are paying £4.50 for delivery I really would have expected them to be sent recorded. But, your 1st bag not turning up may work out for the best as this last batch were rubbish and hopefully the next lot will be better :D
