I received a plain green T-Shirt, 2 long skirts - one is fine (I can make it knee-length easily) but the other is a very heavy maroon and a pair of purple trousers which are short!
I wish I could be happy and think well it's goody bag but I'm sure it said five items.
Others have received dresses and lovely items and I feel like I've got what was left in size 10.

It did used to say 5 or more items, but that has now been changed to 4-5.

The first goody bag I recieved (as a gift) was ok, but nothing special. This time (despite a fault with an item) they have been good. It is a lucky dip.

Hmm, they really should remove the big image on the homepage which says 5 or more! Its the second one if you wait for it to change...
  • I pickd mine up from the post office yesterday and am quite pleased. I got 1 in size 14. I would say I am 12 on top and definitely 14 on bottom!

    I got:

Grey crop leggings in a kind of fitted hareem style - not too baggy. They fit fine.

Long short sleeved tunic/dress in cream with grey/red embroidery and tiny beads. That is a bit tight around the bust but hangs well and I would wear it over the leggings.

Fancy long vest/tunic top in white with a blue pattern which I really like and fits really well.

Baggy tunic top that gathers in slightly at the thigh in green with a navy pattern and detail around the neck. This is really tight on the arms and I wouldn't say I have fat arms! It also just doesn't hang quite right and the detail around the neckline just looks uneven so not sure if I would wear it.

    Notebook

Jute small bag - going to charity shop!

Overall I was quite pleased and think I would try them again in the future.

To those that sent theirs back, how long did it take from posting it to getting a refund or a replacement?

I posted mine 2 weeks ago and it's not been received yet. People Tree say it's probably in the warehouse but according to Royal Mail tracking it's still 'being processed' and I have to wait 3 weeks before they'll investigate! I really hope it's not got lost

Royal Mail tracking for mine never did say anything other than it had been posted, and it was definitely more than 2 weeks before I got a refund - more like 3 I think, although I can't remember.

Agreed. They should remove it, as its confusing. One of my replacement items was because I only recieved 4 in my 2nd bag. I recieved a card in the post which stated 5 or more, so I quoted that, and customer service were fine. I'll let you know what I get next week.

It seems to be a recent change in policy. It might be worth rainbow mentioning this to them.
  • I emailed them with a screenshot of the page - thanks everyone for the advice :)

I'll post the response when I get it!

In fairness, when this thread started, the website did state 4-5 items. I only got 4, but hey, its a lucky bag, you pay your money and take a chance..... Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't...

They have offered to send me another item as they said that the image is a mistake. I have suggested that they amend it to prevent anyone else getting confused.
