Can i drive a car home without an MOT

ive done it before.. but i was insured and the car was taxed.. i passed anpr traffic cars aswell nothing came after me.. worse case scenario £60 fine which is a lot cheaper than paying a transporter company..
depends on the distance

n answer to your question not having an MOT is a non endorsable ticket with a £60 fine. It is cheaper to get the MOT done by a garage than pay the fine so get it done or put the car off the road. It is not rocket science.

I don't see any reason not to book it for the mot and call in on the way.Worst case scenario is it fails and you find out exactly what needs doing with the option of having it fixed at that garage.Best case is it passes and you drive home.0
