olive oil on your feet? does that work??
my feet are horrid - i need to do something with them!0 -
I'm loving what other people do for treats.
For me my idea of a treat is either:
- Having a bubble bath with goodies for lush and reading a good book.
- Browsing a bookshop and taking all the time in the world. I recently did this in Borders in New York, it was lush!
- Have a takeaway. I do this once every few months and have a curry with a glass of red wine. Yujmmy!0 -
Objection, M'lud.
LittleMissChocolate, you CANNOT possibly have a name like that, and then not name the substance in your list of treats.

Whilst I love my children a real treat would be a childfree day, a long soak in some nice bath products, hair mask on and facial at home. Give myself a manicure and pedicure then have a romantic meal with my husband:)0

Yes it does work.
I was reading through this thread and was just going to post that I indulged myself last week and went to the foot clinic and had a professional pedicue,as I spend most of my time on my feet I thought I would treat myself and it was fab.
She recomended a foot cream for me and she also mentioned that some people use olive oil just rub in at night and sleep.0 -

I know it's a weird idea but it really does! I was putting it on my hair and rather than wash the residual oil from my hands I thought I'd rub it in to see what it did (I have seriously dry hands and feet) and it made them look so smooth so I thought 'right, that's going on my feet!'
I just rub a load in, stick some cotton socks on for an hour or so and when I take them off it's like I've been buffing my feet for ages. I was so pleased when I worked this out as Olive Oil is so cheap and - as it turns out - has many uses! I use it to moisturise hair, hands and feet and I use it on sunburn and peeling skin
It's great stuff, getting through each bottle rather rapidly now though, like to think my local Waitrose thinks I'm a culinary goddess
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0
