It took me a long time to be able to log on. I could see the VIP link but when I clicked it I was taken back to the home page. I had to change my browser I changed it to google chrome and got through straight away.

Seems like most of us have been lucky. I have been lucky in the past and unlucky for the last couple of end of season sales. I was set to be disappointed again when I logged in and it said 'only select number of customers blah blah blah'. Then I got an email so I have my slot and I am very pleased. I know how disappointing it is not to get one.
What is so frustrating when you don't get one is when they start offering VIP's a second slot, this is ridiculous and they should be offered to people who have not got one.

I was also wondering the same thing. I hope so as it would make things a lot easier.

Just logged on to find I have a slot, and I UNchecked the box, in the hope I wouldn't get one as the temptation is to great, and I overspend! Oh well, I'll have one unhappy hubby lol!!

They didn't put electricals on until the vip slots went live last time

I've not had a directory for many years, I do have paper statements but don't shop online as I don't like to pay delivery charge so I have to go in store and I order on myt credit card and have delivery to store. I don't have a card for my Next account. I got a card giving me a VIP slot for the xmas sale, I don't thyink I'd used the account for a couple of years. I think it's really random who gets a slot. I don't think they actively discriminate against anyone, for 100 people in your circumstances some will get offered a slot year on year, some once in a blue moon and some never. It's just down to luck I think.
