I think it is because Next are expecting some customers to return these sale items, they will then have another buyer in waiting. I am still waiting for several items from the Christmas sale which were 2-4 week delivery...(don't think they will be arriving now lol) Next never emailed or phoned to let me know what happened.

I take it they don't take the money for the 2-4 week items until they've sent them to you then?

I had to take about 6 items back to the shop today as whoever was putting the Sale label on them stuck them through the material and they made holes in them, shame as had some lovely items, this happens every year. She said she would keep them separate as they had holes but while I was having another look around someone put them back on the sale racks so someone else will buy them and then have to return them.

I ordered some jeans on Saturday and the Courier bought one pair a little while ago.

Can someone help?

I have placed all together 8 orders some with dates of 4 days and some of dates with 2-4 weeks. Most of these orders were placed Saturday morning and 2 were placed today. However nothing apart from one of the orders placed today is showing in my account. I got all the confirmation for each order but nothing showing online. Does this mean that they didnt go through? I know they sometimes dont show straight away but they would normally show by now especially the ones with only a few days wait on them?

So has anyone else had this and do I not need to panic?

Hi did anyone order the leaf print maxi dress - code for regular 723-409 and for petite 704-062? In the directory, it is shown being worn with the button detail at the front, but have received my order and the dresses do not fit correctly with buttons that way around.

The tag is also at the button part of the dress and the straps do not follow the line of your bra strap. The elastic is under your boobs at the front but drops to waist level at the back with a loose baggy section. If I wear it with the buttons at the back however, it fits perfect!!! Straps follow bra straps correctly, waist elastic is on the waist all the way around and not baggy anywhere. I ordered it in 12 & 14 in the petite and regular (as sizes are so different) and all are the same. Was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I just know the first time I wear it, will get a comment about wearing it back to front.:o

I think that as long as you received the confirmation, it is being processed. Items that are on delay will not show in recent activity until in stock.

Ok I'm a little concerned now - got home to a little Next bag hung on our door (inside block of flats) and inside was 2 of the pairs of knickers I ordered - but no mention of the other £90 worth of clothes!! (I left instructions to leave with a neighbour if we weren't in). To top it off, the knickers look way too big - are you allowed to send knickers back?

I ordered 8pm Wed, saying its out for delivery since Saturday....but nothing has arrived yet. I think it's because our couriers get mobbed with Next items, and never had enough staff to deliver today!!

Just got home from a weekend away (well 50 miles down the road visiting my parents lol) and it looks like they tried to deliver my next order on sat and then redelivered today and left with a neighbour! So so pleased with all my stuff everything I ordered was correct and in there!!

I bought a pair of boys jeans on Saturday in the sale. My son(4) wore them yesterday and complained of them being sharp at the waist. I assumed it was the elasticated waist or label etc. Today, when I took them out of the wash I pricked my finger and when I looked found a broken and rusty needle sticking out of the waistband!
I checked my son and found he has a number of little puncture marks and a scratch on his back.
I rang the shop to report it and they rang back to say I need to send the needle and the jeans back. My son (who is incredibly fussy about what he will wear) is really upset that I have to take the jeans back. It seems silly because there is nothing wrong with the item now and surely they just need to trace the item number back to the source.
