Cheers for that, I'll ring them tomorrow to see if I can cancel early.

Another question, hope someone can help...

I Use 'Opera Mini' for internet browsing on my phone, I have however managed to drunkenly delete it from my applications and can't find another place on the phone where it could be. I haven't got a lead to download it again from my computer, any suggestions?

I know it's probably not the right place to ask but it's driving me nuts. When I phoned 02 for help they said they can't help as Opera is nothing to do with them.

You should be able to download Opera direct from the Ovi store on your Nokia. :)

Over the weekend I , thru quidco, signed up for simplicity 10 with web bolt on making a £15 contract as per the quidco £100 cashback criteria. I had checked with o2 and quidco and they all pretty much said that would be good eligibility. Today 24 hours later all the o2 bills and paperwork is available to me on their site but it is tracking at £25 on quidco. HELP!! I cannot find any rate on quidco that tracks at £25.
Been in touch with quidco and am awaiting a reply.
If this fails what cooling off period do I have as I am not keeping this contract if it only tracks at £25.

It seems all these deals are purposly made ambiguous with get outs everywhere..for o2.

It's fairly common for it to track at £25 and validate at the correct amount. Mine is tracking at £25 also.

If it doesn't correct itself, then it's fairly simple to send an 'Earnings Enquiry'.
I would recommend you move your existing contract to PAYG and once that is done use the following transfer form to move your existing number to the SimOnly. You would be risking your cashback if you attempt to do a contract to contract transfer, if they start fiddling your new contract details they may not match the original order placed and may fail validation in 2 months time and result in no payout. It takes about 3 months before the cashback is paid into your account.

My contract expires at the end of this month and I had planned on porting the number to my new simplicity sim, which I already have. But you make a very good point about not doing anything that could jeopardise the £100 cashback. Despite O2 saying it would be a simple process to port the numbers, I think it'll pay to be cautious.

Thanks for the answer about tracking at the wrong amount..seems mad to be though. I am now worried about transferring my number over to the new contract. Again O2 said no prob to me but do you think it could jeopardise the £100 cashback? Just wish they we honest and clear about things. You really earn the £100 ,if you get it, avoiding all the traps and pitfalls..More fine print than Willy Wonkas chocolate contract.

Having looked again I thin the 300 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited 02-02 Calls would do me ok, if I could add on the 500MB data?

Only comes to £10 (without data) so it's cheaper than what I pay now. Only option I can find to add mobile internet is a £10 option for 1GB

Has anyone found out how to put a 500mb data bolt on for £5 to the £10 simplicty with 300 mins & unlimited o2 to o2??

Would be more use unlimited o2 to o2 than 1gb of wifi

    thanks

If you want the additional web-bolt on, its an extra £7.50pm. It works out at £5 extra only if you take the data + wifi, normally extra £10pm for 12 months where they give you £5 discount for the tie in.

First of all I download the Opera Mini again so thanks for that.

Now I want to know if there is a way around this...

I tried to sign up as a new customer as my contract is up anyway. I got all the way to the submit part after adding my bank details etc. Then got a message that said something about a credit check and to write to a certain address?

I used the same card i've used for ages and have been a customer on that card for years so I don't know what to do? I called o2 and they offered the same deal but obviously can't dish out cashback as Quidco is 3rd party...

Anyone know a way around this? I doubt the £100 cashback offer will be around for ever. I went or tried to go for the deal offering 300mins, unlimited texts and 500mb web for £15.

Will be gutted to miss out so if anyone has a suggestion i'll be very happy! Thanks
