Things were out and on sale at my local Tesco at 11am Monday. This is what I can remember:
Lots of stationery: 8 folders, plastic wallets, 50 pencils, felt tip sets, glitter glue sets, Mini screwdriver/tool sets, 2 pack halogen bulb packs, picture hanging packs.
There were quite a few more things, but to be honest nothing to get too excited about. There was a basket of 97p dvds but they were all stuff I hadn't heard of - the kind of films you used to get when you bought a dvd player and got 50 films free. Not worth a pound really.
I didn't see any blank dvds in the £1 offers. I only bought the halogen bulbs - they seemed the best deal.0 -

I went to Tesco yesterday and they had loads of CD's and DVD's for £1.00, they were from totally obscure 1950's, 1960's and 1970's artists. The only DVD I recognised was a yoga one. So it has already started in some stores.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

It isn't so much that they are obscure,it's more the fact that they are rubbishy compilations on cheap labels. The CDs are sually made up of out-takes and re-recordings done by replacement members years after the original groups broke up. They had a load in my local Tesco today.MoaningMyrtle wrote:I went to Tesco yesterday and they had loads of CD's and DVD's for £1.00, they were from totally obscure 1950's, 1960's and 1970's artists. One or two of the DVDs were OK titles, but on no-name labels with dubious production values.0 -
