The dress is lovely and will be great with silver accessories - as the bride has ok'd it (it does seem to be a bit showy) then wear it and remember you can always put some warmer underwear on and thicker denier tights/stockings.0

I think it's perfect for a winter wedding! I don't know if irish weddings (all I have ever been to) are different but that looks like a perfectly normal dress to wear to a wedding to me.0
