Thanks everyone.
I just wonder that if the link to the dress didn't show that it was under a bridesmaid dress section if I would have had the same replies lol it was under the special occassion dresses section that I bought it and it never mentioned that it was also a bridesmaid dress. The dress disappeared from the website after I bought it and when I googled it to post here, that was the only link that there was.
It is identical to this dress which is under special occasions although this does mention that it is also a bridesmaid dress:

Don't you dare! lol
Seriously, it's a gorgeous dress and I don't think it's over the top. I was at two weddings last month where ladies wore dresses to the Church/ceremony that were definately prom style dresses (and more ott than yours) now THEY were in danger of overshadowing the bridal party!
Your dress is simply elegant and just on the right side of 'party' to see you through the whole day!
However if you hear the bride screech as she opens her email then run for the hills (or at least the nearest dress shop)!
I'd be guided by her, it's her day after all. xx0 -
The bride loves it! lol Her only concern is that I will be cold when outside (bless her). Just need to wait for it to arrive now and try it on!

(Why didn't I think just to email her in the first place??? lol Silly me!)0 -
yea sometimes its best not to ask on these boards because if you like it and 10 people dont it puts doubt in your head.
wear it and love it! its goregous! xx0 -

I saw that dress in the shop, & it is lovely.
Only thing for me - it felt really stiff and scratchy, and that was before I even tried it on. See how you feel in it when it arrives, but I think it's a great colour for a winter wedding, will look brill accessorised , and can come out again at Christmas. Very MSE!0 -

I will maybe buy a silver flower corsage and change the one of the dress to that?
That sounds gorgeous!!! :T I wouldn't change the corsage though, the jacket, shoes and bag will be super! xclarabell1984 wrote: »Thanks everyone.

I knew it was under bridesmaid dresses, because I'm getting married and have been looking at tonns of bridesmaid dresses lol!
Think a lot of us have looked at the dresses on Debenhams, so it wouldn't have made a difference if you hadn't put the link there.
I would have known exactly where it was from just by looking at a pic of it (I'm so sick of looking at dresses and going over the same ones again and again lol):rotfl:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
