  • For some reason my autocorrect changes R J Turley to R J Turkey unless, over written. Pretty much sums up this company from the feedback posted. Having used Google to check out other sites I'd not take my business there. Good luck if you do.

Do you just google yourselves once a year, and comment on the resulting threads?

    Deja vu, anyone?

I mean the one above yours from the new poster who is obviously a genuine customer and nothing to do with the business. I am agreeing with you.

After reading the previous comments I find it surprising that the last bad comment was four years ago and is still at the top of this page. Considering my experience I find it a farce that these things have been said. I gave Mr Turley my late fathers signet ring which needed to be made bigger to fit myself and he said it would be done within 2hours I went away and had some food by the time I had finished eating it was done and could not tell where he had made the amendments, the service was great the price perfect adequate and even though he is a one man band I couldn't fault him. So to the previous customers I say try again because I definitely will.

I'm the original poster who had all the trouble with the eternity ring. I never mentioned, I did actually have my wedding ring resized which he did on the same day the whole sorry saga started. So yes, they may be perfectly able to do a simple resize on the day, but heaven help you if you have to leave a job with them and communicate via the phone.

As for trying again, 4 wasted visits from Buckinghamshire to Birmingham was enough to convince me never to set foot near the place again.

Nice (but badly spelled) backhanded compliment there.
